A lot of people were saying that Eastern Illinois and New Hampshire were the 2 teams for sure that shouldn't of been in the playoff field. I think they will both go down the first game.

Southern Utah got absolutely screwed by the officials late in their game that basically cost them the game. S. Utah had to give the ball over on downs when Sam Houston defender absolutely tackled the pass receiver right in front of the officials and they didn't throw the flag. The next play Sam Houston threw a touchdown pass to go ahead and they shouldn't even of had the ball. I guarantee you the Utah coach is going to file a protest. He has got to be livid. Sometimes you wonder if the selection process as well as a lot of other things are rigged. Didn't Southern Utah win the Big Sky and got rewarded by having to play at Sam Houston (who a lot of people think shouldn't of even been in the tourney. Lots of funny stuff goes on.

Bison fans have a very short memory over the quality of some of their FBS wins. For years they have been very proud of some of the crap wins they had. They have selective memory. They rebuilt their program largely because of some of those garbage wins.

It wasn't very good investigative journalism by the two. If you were going to go after the story, go for it. They should of pressed for exact comparisons between UND and the other schools individually and not as a group. It would of been fun to watch him talk even more in circles. He would of been squirming a little., It was a disappointing probe by the journalists. They let him off the hook.

The more research that is done on this topic, the more the performance of this committee just reeks of favoritism, lack of accuracy in gathering information, and quite possibly a chance to stick it to UND because of previous hatred that had built up over previous dealings with UND. Very sad. They definitely had their own agenda.

We could of won 9 games this year and we still wouldn't of gotten in. They would of found a reason.

We all know we shouldn't have blown those leads but that isn't what we are talking about. We are talking about the end result of our schedule and why the corrupt committee didn't do their job at the end of the season. Even though we lost those leads we should of been in. Hands down..

They keep saying we had 2 bad losses. We did have 2 heartbreaking losses. A bad loss was Idaho State. Weber State was 6and 5. Weber State was a tough loss. Their is a difference between a bad loss and a tough loss. No wonder this committee is being questioned. The committee chair was all over the board with inconsistencies.

Jack finally brings up the Big question on what quality wins East Illinois had and then never asked for an answer. Very disappointing. A very vanilla interview. Jack really let him off the hook. The whole thing really stinks.

Even though this team is young, I can see where we are going to have a tough time defending down low. Shanks still looks like he doesn't have control of his emotions. I think the future is still bright but I think it is going to be a season that is up and down . I think I have backed off on how good I think they will be this year.

Just saw an interview with Bubba. He looked shocked and you could tell his blood was boiling. I didn't even realize Eastern Illinois didn't even have one quality win. This whole debacle is quite puzzling.

Western Illinois and Eastern Illinois getting in before us. What a joke. They have made a mockery of the whole process. Very sad.

For what it is worth. The WDAY sports guys (Izzo and Kolpack) predict that UND is in the playoffs and that they are not even a bubble team. They say we are in for sure. I hope they are right.

Most everyone on that committee is watching this game because it is basically about the only game left. If we hang on and win this game and our name is called to be part of the playoff group, we can thank our coaching staff for pulling some redshirts. We would not be in the playoffs without them. Right now we are putting on a clinic. We are playing great.

A lot of the forecasters say we are in if we win. I agree. Our biggest obstacle to getting in the playoffs is just simply winning the football game. It is not going to be easy. Go UND.

Is this game on Big Sky TV today as well as ESPN3? I don't see the UND game on the schedule on ESPN3.

How many FBS wins did the Big sky Conference have this year? How does it compare to MVFC and other FCS conferences?

Thanks for the insight. The standings are a mess. If Northern Arizona wins it could potentially eliminate both those teams. The bottom line it would seem that there is fairly good chance if we win we would make the playoffs (unless ALL bad scenarios happen).

The No. Arizona/So Utah. game is interesting. They each have a D2 win I believe and both have 3 losses already. Is that right? We never played either one of them so there is no head to head. If we win they would both be eliminated wouldn't they. We just need to win and we should be in for sure if Big Sky gets 4 teams If Montana St. or Portland State win we should for sure be in ( whether the Big Sky gets 4 teams or not ) if we WIN. Just win.

Remember we have hockey game on Saturday night. Our fans get way to tired to go to2 games in the same day. Crowd will not be what you might think.

Not only is that team that has Hawks in their nickname coming is to town this weekend, it is a team that is in our very own NCHC and will be here every year. When people make any reference to a Hawks team in our hockey conference in the future they will need to be more specific. Go Roughriders.

This tells me the new players are talented. It also tells me Jones needs to win this year if you know what I mean. I have no problem with pulling redshirts if they can help. Our fan base needs a great year sooner than later. I do think this group of players has the potential to be very good not to far into the future.

I see where Mack Schneider the former UND footballer and now politician says he is voting for Roughriders.
