Well Shep was horrible as usual, and like Hab-it stated, you never let your goalie get run like that, playoffs or not. Someone needed to take charge and back up the gophers hands down best player. If Kangas is hurt, and long island Frazee is back in, you are a lot different team. With Kangas between the pipes, you guys can compete with anyone, I sure as heck don't want to meet you in the ncaa's. Cardinal was dead on, the goofs are too soft, someone needed to step in. Doesn't mean the gloves had to be dropped, but at least a show of fortitude and unity sticking up for your goaltender.

Chay Genoway, Jr (should wear a letter the next two seasons) Derrick LaPoint, So Jake Marto, So Zach Jones, Jr Joe Finley, Sr (95% gone) Taylor Chorney, Sr (99% gone) Ben Blood, Fr Andrew MacWilliam, Fr Joe Gleason, Fr *assuming the two potential seniors leave, do they bring in three frosh defensemen, and have seven to battle for the six spots? no emergency backups like radke anymore to toss in if any injuries, and as shown this weekend, marto and genoway transition up front fairly well, which is why i think there will be 7 Forwards... Ryan Duncan, Sr (75% gone if he gets a good offer, but would love to see him with the "c" next year) TJ Oshie, Sr (99.9% gone, but we can dream ) Ryan Martens, Sr Andrew Kozek, Sr Darcy Zajac, Jr Brad Miller, Sr Brent Davidson, So Michael Forney, redshirt So?? don't know what to think here Evan Trupp, So Matt Watkins, Sr Matt Frattin, So Brad Malone, So Chris VandeVelde, Jr (20% he goes, but i see him as a force wearing a letter) Jason Gregoire, Fr Brett Hextall, Fr Brett Bruneteau, Fr *if we're lucky enough to keep Duncs, that is a ton of senior leadership up front and 15 guys fighting for 12 spots if forney is back healthy and in the mix. In my opinion, it is one too many, but I can't see any of the three frosh deferring, especially considering the 2009 class. Obviously you make exceptions for guys like osh and duncs, but i just don't know. any thoughts??

depends where in phx you are. i know that r.t. o'sullivans is a good place to watch the game which is just off of alma school rd in mesa. azsioux recommended it to us when we were down there last year, and it was a blast, lots of good sioux fans. other than that, i think azsioux would be your best source of info, maybe pm him?

robb... kfgo.com is a better web stream for audio in my opinion. just go to the site during pregame and hit listen live and you are set. if you want the video, you can buy a single game (24 hr) package from fightingsioux.com. it is not as user friendly, but once you get it up and running, it works fairly well. i would hope that the fightingsioux.com site will try to correct their problems, but in the meantime, it is all we have for people out of the area. hope you get the game today, as i have a feeling the sioux are going to put the stomp to the techies. lets go sioux!!!!

bad 3rd period and ot. still a great team. i think still the team to beat. like az said, it's not the ncaas so our season is not over. lets get this series finished tomorrow with a big win. im going to be tired monday morning after driving home after the sioux's 6-1 victory. hope the sioux spend easter in st. paul, and finish the year in denver with a nice big piece of hardware. lets go sioux!!! how they come back tomorrow will show the fortitude of this team.

seeing forneys name on that list is great. he has had a tough couple of years athletically, looks like he is still working hard in school. congratulations. i sure hope we can see that hockey talent on the ice in years to come. get healthy michael, and keep working hard!

other than his two rings... that trumps alot of stats. lets hope jpl can top off his outstanding career with one! if mich goes out early in the ncaas and jpl tosses in another shutout or two, i think he gives porter a run. its still porters to lose.

thul is consistent. he did miss a couple of muggings, but less than usual. as goon stated, best of the worst but he is a solid official. genoway on the blueline COMPLETELY changes this team, awesome to see him back. one thing i didnt see mentioned, marto looked great up front. his speed made that fourth line a threat. i love what i saw last night. you can't gameplan for genoway and marto's speed. simply awesome. GO SIOUX!!!!! finish this tonight.
