LOL......I don't think I am a troll if I thump on my own school. Too bad this game or the NDSU game are not picked up by Directv anywhere. I am hunting all weekend and was hoping to catch something interesting on the satellite (you know we rough it out camping!).

I tell you what.......go recruit a few kids that are handy at forging names on a petition......put them in and let them play. While not much with petitions, I would bet they could play one hell of a game of football and make your President look like a damn fool all at the same time.......Wait.....I guess the President is already a damn fool.

I have always wondered what the impact of playing on that red turf is for a visiting team. Obviously after the lack of success at EWU by the Bison, it would not bother me one bit to see UND go in there thump them. It is finally cooling off here out west, but the weekend will still have great football weather.

Who the hell cares.....it is a great place for hockey. UND whored themselves a good bit for it, but now when the controversy on the nickname is dead......probably worth it. As much as I despise your team, I sure would not pick the Montana game as a loss. That program has to be in one hell of a state of disarray. If UND puts a few things together it could be the Darkhorse and if something goes wrong it could be a long season. It will be very interesting to see if Muss earns that extension in this first year in the Sky.

No death penalty, but it is one hell of a mess in Missoula that the NCAA can't ignore. Horrible what happened in Missoula......and amazingly when I have read egriz, many fans are blaming the University administration for cleaning house.

You can make a pretty good argument for Sam Houston being #1 in a pre-season poll. It is a tough road to repeat. Let's play the games and see where we wind up!

If I were still living in Williston, I would vote yes. I know my Mom voted yes and I encouraged her to do so (she is in her 80s so she votes absentee). Time to end this crazy stuff and get on with your transition.

Retire it along with the name and stick it down at the State Historical Society in Bismarck. I have always thought there should be a display at the Heritage Center featuring the retirement of the Sioux name. It should be a part of that. As for a new trophy......if the teams play.....and it will be every other year if at all......does not need a trophy. NDSU playing UND is basically a gift to a program that is wetting its collective pants to have a game with NDSU. That is not deserving of a trophy.
