  1. Bars with names that are double entendres kick a$$!
  2. That is a VERY interesting piece of information.
  3. You're probably right....those brain cells died. Ah yes, schnapps. I had a run-in with Dr. McGillicudy at one of the Sioux-Bison games. Drunk, stupid, and face-first in a snowbank is no way to go through life, son. Back me up here, TRIOUXPER.
  4. What a bunch of young punks! Here was the calendar back in the day: Sunday: Whitey's, back in the pool room. Monday: Dead giveaways at the Antique Tuesday: $0.35 drinks at the Spud Wednesday: Long Island Teas at the Bridge/then John Barleycorn Thursday: Stay home at Walsh Hall and drink ourselves into a stuper Friday: Buck pitchers at the Spud, sleep it off, and then the downtown bars (anyone remember Faces?) Saturday: Wake up around four, find cheap off-sale and figure it out as we went And so on and so forth.
  5. OK, you win. Miller has been a pleasant surprise (given the numbers in Green Bay coming in) and Kozek has been a bigger bust than Watkins. It's December, let's see how the next three months pan out.
  6. Second leading scorer in the BCHL two years ago, and a second round pick? I don't think 15-20 is that far off the mark.
  7. 2004-05 Vernon Vipers BCHL 60 36 38 74 53 2005-06 U.of North Dakota NCAA 45 5 3 8 45 Or perhaps the bar was just set very low last year.
  8. Sioux women by 43.
  9. I agree, and this is where guys like Kozek and Watkins (who have gotten a free pass on this thread) need to step up. Miller is outproducing them after spending basically the entire 2005-2006 season in a suit and tie on game nights. Something is wrong with that picture. That said, we still have over half of the league schedule to go, and there's still time for these guys to step up. Just thought some of the "love" needed to be spread to the sophs as well.
  10. It's between Hakstol, Hunter, and the Bishop family. Best of luck to him in his future endeavors.
  11. COLONEL!! Looking forward to seeing you guys in January for another weekend of Sioux-Rodent adventures. Born in Cavalier,ND; grew up on a farm between Cavalier and St. Thomas. Attended UND on the "extended plan", moved to Minnesota in 1991, currently in the northwest burbs in Maple Grove. Enjoy getting to GF for as many football and hockey games as possible. Bleeding more green by the day.
  12. When the Feel the Love Tour '07 makes the stop in St.Louis in April, I will be there!
  13. People kept associating the old name with in-flight food, so good move.
  14. Sorry about that...I didn't even realize there was a transition to a second song after Iron Maiden. Too many pregame beverages I guess.....
  15. Sirius, by Alan Parsons Project.
  16. We won't be seeing glow sticks again anytime soon.
  17. Will alcohol be made available?
  18. That's awesome news, JFR. I think Miami will have trouble filling that job, ala Nebraska and Alabama a few years ago.
  19. L.A. Times reporting Florida in, Michigan out. We'll know in a few hours officially.

    next season

    I'd settle for Tony Mortensen.
  21. I hope the Gators go to Glendale. Michigan had their shot at the Buckeyes, and didn't get it done. 12-1 with that schedule....yeah, I think so.
  22. Then let's say goodbye to D2 in style next season. GREAT SEASON SIOUX!!
  23. Is UND eligible for D-II championship play next year?
  24. Or as NorthDakotaHockey would say...a couple thousand Laker sphincters slamming shut.
  25. SIOUX FOOTBALL!! SIOUX FOOTBALL!!
