With regard to Davidson, Prpich was a late recruit as well during the summer of '02. That turned out okay. Not saying that the same will be true for Davidson, but I'll error on the optimistic side.
Agreed. Judging from the fan reaction and the autograph session, he won't hurt them at the box office, either...which I'm sure didn't go unnoticed. I hope he comes back, but all the best to him if he changes his mind. It would cost the Sioux one or two spots in the WCHA standings, that how important he is to the puzzle.
It's wishful thinking. Frazee and Kangas will be seeing a lot of rubber from the sticks of Oshie and Duncan very soon. I'm looking forward to being there.
Huge loss for the goofys. Let's see....Anderson, Fischer, Peltier, Schack, Wehrs, Fairchild, Bickel, O'Brien.......arena managers around the league, stock plenty of extra light bulbs....
He seems very likable and engaging in person. I'm not privy to all of the he said-she said stuff, but in my opinion a 10-game football schedule is an embarassment with where our programs are headed in the next five years.
Don't get me wrong, I think Schafer would be a great candidate. I'm just preparing myself to be underwhelmed when the smoke clears...you know, like the old saying "those that can't do, teach".
