  1. When Joe Finley was a baby he took candy from adults.
  2. Your parents kept it from you so that you would get SOME homework done.
  3. One bank did a commercial with Dave Hakstol in front of it. That bank hasn't been robbed since.
  4. Our history of putting top players into the NHL is helping us recruit top players for the future. So it sucks to lose the great ones, but it helps us get more so it's not all bad.
  5. This is our last shot for this group.
  6. The 1996--1998 Michigan Wolverines had eight I think that made this kind of pact. That included Brenden Morrison the Hobey Baker winner I believe. They were supposed to win the Nationals that year but they were beat by Boston U who were themselves beaten.
  7. What color is TJ Oshie's blood? Trick question because TJ Oshie does not bleed.
  8. Well the home games are on TV, big help that is if you're at the game. But I think you made the point well that going to a five minute overtime didn't cause the television world to adopt hockey games as a TV sport.
  9. We used to have full 20 minute sudden death playoffs during the regular season. If there was no score than it was a tie. I never knew why the changed away from that? It wasn't like there was a lot of hockey on TV back then.
  10. Let's face it the officials have done a terrible job of protecting star players (unless they play for Minnesota). It'd be better if the officials did their job (1. Protect the players #2 Protect the integrity of the game) but if not....
  11. Jim Archibald once skated by the Gopher Bench in old Williams Arena and did a slapshot (slapped every player with his stick). At least that's what I've been told by an eyewitness.
  12. You paid the school the royalties right? I mean before you had it put on. Otherwise they can make you take it off.
  13. When Jim Archibald's wife was in labor he dropped her off at the hospital and went to practice.
  14. If I remember right we were happy to have Hrkac's come back but he was a bit of an unknown. Two years previously he had shown some genius (6 assists in a game) but also had some issues. Gino had suspended him for a number of games for reasons that to my knowledge has never been officially released. (Rumors abounded). Then he up and left the team for the Canadian National Team. Coming back we didn't know he was going to show up so good! Nobody had heard of our Goalie that year. Eddie who? We knew Kidd was a great defenseman but 86-87 was a breakout year for Joyce. Talking about Hrkac that year reminds me of one of the best plays I've seen. We were playing Minnesota at home and killing a penalty. Hrkac tipped a pass between the defensemen into the neutral zone, skated up and scored an easy shortie. I wish I had video on that. For him everything just looked in slow motion but nobody ever caught him.
  15. I didn't know native Americans had freckles.
  16. Strippers tip TJ Oshie. Umm, I'm not actually saying that he would go in a bar but if he did. OR if he went to a stripper bar in Canada the Canadian chicks would tip him and their money's even worth something now.
  17. OK, How about "I am hostile and abusive."
  18. I'll have this tattoo even when I'm old, unattractive and wrinkled.
  19. Jim Archibald once ran down a deer and killed it with a knife.
  20. I hope she doesn't get skates!
  21. Jim Archibald wasn't born, he was unleashed.
  22. I found the ones I couldn't place. Mike and Frank Burggraf. There's been a few others prior to the modern era.
  23. What happened to their other brother Daryl?
