  1. No wonder he goes by his nickname. A name like Eldrick is worth 0 in the endorsement game.
  2. Your attraction to TJ Oshie does not affect your sexual orientation.
  3. Rylan Kaip can talk about fight club.
  4. He's also at a good age for lifting weights.
  5. But terrifying.
  6. Look dumber too.
  7. OH, wait, every poster but me.
  8. I hate everyone who posted on this thread.
  9. I'm thinking that every poster on this thread except for one is enjoying themselves.
  10. I like chocolate chip cookies more better.
  11. It's all about you all the time isn't it Dave?
  12. Not Buck MURdock?
  13. ...must be his coffee.....
  14. On a serious note I would expect that Assistant coaches are hired on a year to year basis aren't they. After all if the assistant coach is worth a darned you know he wants to be a head coach somewhere.
  15. Yes the Wild don't care about scoring nor TV ratings either. The only thing to tune is is if Bogie gets into a fight. (Boring Hockey) I should clarify that there will probably always be fighting even in college. Sometimes two guys are just going to want to test themselves (Prpich v. Peluso (did I spell that right)) or want to get their team going (McMahon v. Milli Vanelli.) But even those fights could be cut down.
  16. So if we don't agree with DaveK then we're immature. (Actually I think he's projecting). I would think the fans of the Big 10 are hoping their teams win all their games rather than worry about strength of schedule. Certainly the possibility of maybe beating Michigan is far stronger than the SOS calculation when it comes to the post season.
  17. So if the BCS uses the number of Appalachian shirts that fans of another team buy in their calculation? As far as I'm concerned enjoying a hated rival losing to a lesser team shouldn't be a factor come playoff time. On a serious note the fact that their celebrating or not isn't going to change what happened last weekend.
  18. My point all along has been that with good officiating (both on and off ice) there shouldn't need to be fighting to protect eachother. Maybe we'll never get there, but we sure as heck aren't there yet.
  19. Van by the river video found here. I thought I should add some humor. Good stuff.
  20. I think that was the one where the goalie got his wrist cut real bad. In the video it looked to me that the defense knocked the gopher off his feet so you couldn't really blame the gopher (damn). I'm sorry this was the game against Denver that Gorden ran the goalie and then got 5 minutes for fighting even though he didn't throw a punch. He had to sit out the first game against the Sioux which Frank the Rug thought was terrible. I think I still got those two games on the computer.
  21. I don't remember anyone sticking up for Domi. What's that got to do with DaveK sticking up for dirty players?
  22. He's a Pittsburgh legend for being a dirty player.
  23. It's kinda like the theory that the person getting their head driven into the boards is more likely to be injured than the one initiating the contact. But hey in the more evolved and civilized world everyone's to blame.
  24. Here's the deal, if your knee is bent and set for collision it's in a much stronger position than someone who's not expecting the collision (you know actually making a hockey play rather than trying to injure someone).
  25. Right because it's so much better to ram a guy head first into the boards as hard as you can. That's OK in Daveyland. So is initiating knee to knee contact where your knee is in a strong position and the other guys is in a weak position (resulting in a career ending injury). Some dirty plays are not really dirty to the more evolved and civilized I guess.
