  1. Why do you have to post the picture and remind me that these Gopher scum are really just a bunch of kids that we'd probably like real well if we knew them?
  2. Was that the Parise Bochenski year. If I remember right we started off the season 0--43 or something like that. If you dropped that off the rest of the year was average. With those guys we should have been lethal on the power play. Who knows why it worked out that way.
  3. Is that it? I thought I was finally growing up.
  4. What are you trying to say?
  5. That's good enough for me.
  6. "Gophers Pin Hopes on Next Years Football Team"
  7. Shoot early and often. I'm guessing we'll split but it would be beautiful to sweep them again. Before last year it was what, 25 years since the last sweep in Sillyappolis? How many years since we won 4 straight.?
  8. That would be fun to watch wouldn't it?
  9. I'd love to see us playing in that regional.
  10. I think it's a good thing that he's aware he's got the potential to play better. I think we'll see that more and more as the we get more closer to the playoffs.
  11. I want the goalie babe back or at least a full sized pic emailed to me of the same.
  12. That was the case last year when we visit the John.
  13. Bickel folds like an accordion in the first 10 seconds. Perhaps they've finally discovered shame.
  14. Hakshomey's right. Psychotic, but absolutely right. We gotta take these bastards. Now we could do it with conventional weapons that could take years and cost millions of lives. No, I think we have to go all out. I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody's part.
  15. Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?
  16. In the pregame coach Hakstol said you had to play the way the game was officiated. I find it funny that the AA coach would complain about that stuff.
  17. I'll give him credit for doing the right thing regardless of his motivation.
  18. Let's give Todd Anderson credit for carefully reviewing that disallowed goal and particularly for asking one of the linesmen over for his opinion tonight. I hadn't thought the Seawolf was knocked down, but I would have accepted his call because I thought he had at least been thorough.
  19. I also heard Tony Hrkac's in town.
  20. A couple observations. There was long standing mandate to call checking from behind. Don Adam just plain blew the call. Calling non-checking from behinds as a CFB doesn't help on the incompetence factor IMO. And it seems that UND has been recipients of a couple CFB's that weren't called this year. Matt Watkins took too CFB's in the Boston Fog game. Another observation is that teams like Michigan and Miami are able to nearly run the tables in the CCHA this year the way they call that. Would the three good teams in the WCHA CC, Dunver and UND fare as well with no obstruction?
  21. What's funny is that last year Duncan scored most of his goals from his offside. Moving him over sure makes sense to me.
  22. It might be St Clowns year to take a team into double overtime.
  23. If we didn't use the PWR then we'd probably settle on the KRACH as the best statistical method of choosing teams for the tournament. From the WCHA's perspective that would mean Wisconsin who's sitting at #12 would be added to the tournament as well as Minnesota at 14. St Clown at 15 would be bumped out due to the autobids. Minnesota would be right on the bubble in case a lower team would win their conference championship. It doesn't seem quite the travesty that the Badgers and Gophers are left out this year considering the season they've had. And no, I really don't have a point in this. Just throwing it out there for discussion. The only thing is I'd love to see Michigan and Miami have to play a WCHA team, ANY WCHA team to advance to the Frozen Four.
  24. Makes perfect sense if you're an NCAA apparatchik. I understand that the regional up here was the second most successful hockey regional for the NCAA ever. They certainly don't want to let that happen again. I fail to see how we're any better off playing against the Gophers in the Xcel as opposed to Mariucci, except for the size of the ice sheet of course.
  25. Yes I saw the rules as they referred them after my comment. I stand corrected. Of course I don't see the league has much integrity so that part of my statement stands.
