These Nimrods on Charter think that the second waived off goal should have counted as the Mankato player was pushed in. Umm, he was driving the net and had pushed the Sioux player. You could maybe say it wasn't intentional contact but it was goaltender interference and the official was blowing the whistle anyway. Too Funny!

Only a goal because the MSU player was on top of Lammy. Goaltender interference.

So what the WCHA is saying is that they have no interest in the integrity of the league. I'm betting that he just isn't scheduled for a week or two, but will so return to continue screwing up games. -
Not if I find them....Actually not, I don't like traveling to games because I take it personally if we would lose.

It seemed he was doing pretty well when he first got to the Bruins and then this year he couldn't crack the lineup. It seems like the NHL is funny that way, if the management or coaches don't like you you don't get a chance. Look at Jason Blake. He couldn't do anything right for Andy Murrey in LA. Since then he's been doing very well.

If you don't give up ANY odd man rushes you aren't aggressive enough. Giving up too many is worse.
-
It'll be a challenge, but history has shown that the UND Hockey organization is up to the challenge.

Even KRACH doesn't rank the WCHA schools that high. We've got positions 13-16. Probably Wisconsin at #13 would be the only team to get in under KRACH what with the autobids. Still the others aren't that far out. Still the PWR's the way it is. Glad we've done well enough to be locked in. In the last couple years weren't we on the outside looking in at this point?

It's the only sure thing game in the tournament.

That's ok they had a quick whistle on the other end and negated a goal by Calgary. Bottom line Calgary got hosed for two points in less than a minute. I take back what I said about the NHL improving their act. -
(FYI I tried to delete my message as on consideration I thought this was political.) My apologies.

From the link Fetch supplied: If that's the case then Schmidt should be fired and be expected to refund the ticket price to everyone at the game out of his own pocket for cheating them. (Ok I don't really expect the second part). It'd be easy enough to give credence to that scenario by the TV replay. How long did Schmidt review the camera? Figuring out the rest of the scenarios would take time. -
You might be a great team, but until you're tested against other good teams you don't really know how to play against them.

Didn't the WCHA go to the NCAA standards. Three fights done for the season was the old rule. I think they went to three fights done for 3 or 4 games....... But at some point it doesn't make too much difference as the season isn't that long.
-
In that case I gotta buy the webcast. Friday night is the night for fighting because if you match up with someone of your approximate skill level you don't hurt your team Saturday.

But we've taken penalties that we haven't needed to take. I don't think it helps us with the referees when we're already #1 coming in. I don't mind the UW stuff, but lets stop taking the dumb penalties.

Michigan's SOS is more worser than Miami.

I think we need to be concerned. Keep our sticks off of the other players and things will be OK. I still think the officials hate us because we're better looking then them and are trying to get even with us.

I only got upset that Siouxnami implied that TJ shouldn't be canonized. We can't control what they do in the league office or Vatican. Seriously I think that there's a point where it's OK to discuss the performance and a point where you shouldn't. If a player isn't performing up to his potential I think that's ok to talk about. If a player isn't playing smart then that's OK to point out. On the other hand if a guy's giving you his all then he shouldn't be criticized; but you might still say another player deserves his place on the roster. When it comes to off ice missteps I think it's ok to talk about, but we should remember what we were doing when we were that age. One thing I don't like is when we're talking about something like "who to play" and someone chimes in that "Hak knows more than you do." Well yeah, but this a fan site and you talk about those things. Besides I think there's more work to be done with our lines and he's still changing them. Anyway that's my two cents of where the line should be drawn.

What really stands out there is that only 3 WCHA teams make the tournament. Of course that's a failure of the PWR, not the bracketology. Still considering that we are the strongest conference in strength of schedule there's something amiss.

UND Got Breaks In the Last Three Tournaments
The Whistler replied to The Whistler's topic in Men's Hockey
I guess the Rocky Mountain News would consider that a break too. -
I have no idea who you are referring to. Hopefully it isn't me.

Great analysis. After our sweep this weekend we will be two points behind Dunver. The most likely standings without Randy Schmidt fouling the waters is we'd be tied for second. Maybe even ahead. I knew it was part of the anti-UND conspiracy. -

Hopefully we can finish the game. Maybe if we met them in the regional we'd get this monkey off of our back.
