In Duncan's case for sure he's not getting anywhere near the room to operate as he did last year with Oshie and Toews on his live.

I agree with you guys but I think that getting the potential out of Oshie and Duncan is what we need to advance through the playoffs. Let's scare the crap out of 'em with those guys and have the other guys chip in when they can.

Another year, another second half run! Things are shaping up. The defense has solidified. Lammy isn't letting a bad goal affect him for the rest of the game. The Penalty kill has really excelled (good thing we've gotten the practice). The power play is producing well. We're getting good production from the second and third lines. In my opinion we're still not getting the ptential (which is almost unlimited) of Oshie and Duncan. That should have been our strength out of the gate but it'll be ok. I'm sure they'll be showing up when we need 'em during the drive for #8.

True, but we need Oshie and Duncan to be delivering their potential now.

I don't see it being a bad thing. We do need more division one schools. Would it create more interest in college hockey up in Canadia and paradoxically make it easier to recruit players to play in the US. (We need more 24 year old Canadians, eh.)

Operative words "Full Throttle", "reckless abandon", and "chaos." Give him a week of practice with Oshie and Duncs and see how it turns out over the weekend. Watching the game on the webcast was too limited for me to judge Trupps effort, but apparently it didn't work.
