I talked with an incoming UND student who is a family friend. She said in their orientation hockey was all the guide talked about for sports. The problem is inbred.

As we know and most have shared "It all comes down to the O line and D line". Our line coach seems to be the real deal and our recruiting in that area has been impressive. If we can match up with their lines we can beat them.

Plus the fact some of the fans were pretty cocky at half time - even though we were ahead.

7-4 is predictable, 8-3 (or better) is achievable, it would mean beating someone we will not be favored to beat.

The host suggests that SU's Larsen did nothing to stop Weber from hosting, just to hurt UND, Patty says "Sometimes you shouldn't confuse conspiracy theories with incompetence".

She definitely called him incompetent - what is she going to do about it is the follow up question.

As we have learned depth is very important, injuries are going to happen. I have no issues with any of these guys being on the roster. You never know who is going to make the play - last year both 13 and 12 made some pretty big plays.

Prior Lake was somewhat of a surreal experience for me. When I looked at the name tags on the table it was like a hall of fame - I would estimate about 150 former players and coaches attended. I was with the team in 77-79 and there were plenty of them there. That was Murphy's years and I believe it was 79 they went 10-0.

I did too - he seems very satisfied with our backfield.

As has been suggested UND should be combing the US looking for student athletes that have an interest in aviation, business, PT, medical fields. And maybe they are because if I can think of that I believe they already have.

I'm not a high roller and I don't play golf, but I'm going to the social Sunday at Prior Lake. I have no doubt it will be a great event, I will feel welcomed and come home feeling confident about what's happening at UND.

Big step - they are ripping the band aid off. I have no issue with this as the students on campus now have only known the Fighting Hawk as their official nickname and all teams have embraced it except for hockey.

In my experience Tim Belmore is very approachable.

A successful business owner in the town near me gave six figures to Team Makers to finish their football practice facility. He did not play for them, just went there. The money flows to UND just not to football.

We blocked a punt for a td and the win in Youngstown. They definitely got screwed out of the playoffs. They would have beat Montana.

Suggestion - mark your calendar and get to the Summit Basketball tournament, it's a great place to meet up with other fans and connect with player's families. Lots of great games and UND hosts a very nice social room before every game. Anyone who was there would have realized that this was true - all the hand wringing posts about players leaving have no purpose.

Individuals can host a Watch Party and register it through UND Alumni Association. UND will send an email out to all Alums in a 100 miles radius (not totally sure of mileage radius), they will also send a box of UND table decorations and trinkets for door prizes.
