In an odd way, I kind of feel sorry for that maroon. Alcohol and stupidity do not mix well. I got the impression that the CSU fans perked up looking at him and realizing that at least they don't have a fool like that cheering their team. He amused them. Honestly though, the NDSU fans as a group could not have been nicer and more fun at that game. My CSU friends were extremely impressed.

I was checking the box score for their first game against Sac State. 12,100 attendance. Now, if that it typical, it would seem that they would probably fit FCS better than as an FBS independent. That isn't going to be a normal attendance figure.

Very winnable game. If UND can't win this one, I'm not too sure about any playoff chances down the road. I've got the over/under at about 13 posts...

Maybe NDSU players are in charge of collecting the ballots? After all, 10 of them have experience collecting signatures for ballot initiatives.

Hopefully that game will have some playoff implications for North Dakota. I look forward to it also.

Many people know about the criminal activity of NDSU's football players. Deny it all you want, but that is reality. If you don't want to hear about it, go to Bisonville. March in goosestep with that bunch. There, it is verboten to speak about such "trivial" matters by the golden "student" athletes at NDSU, such as election fraud, underage drinking , resisting arrest, shoplifting, whipping it out in public, etc.... (Did anything happen this weekend yet? They do have some time on their hands. And you know what they say about idle hands!"

Sorry to burst your bubble, but I am happy with my degree coming from UND and not NDSU. The sports thing is trivial. However, jealousy is not an issue. Watching our state become a laughing stock due to the criminal activity of NDSU student (?) athletes is ridiculous. Unfortunately, some media confused UND with NDSU in this matter. That doesn't make us jealous. It pisses us off.

Not enough D for North Dakota. it was a fun game to listen to. However, as most UND fans, I hope they pop that FBS bubble soon. If they can get the D to settle down, maybe they can make the playoffs and make some noise.

I was there. They didn't run out the clock. CSU actually played fairly good D that game. They were tired and couldn't stop NDSU on 3rd down conversions. CSU's offense was horrible and NDSU's run defense was excellent. NDSU ran their plays to perfection against what was probably a little better talent. Coach Mac at CSU hasn't had this team long enough to compete at a high level of FBS. Apparently, not even a low level of FBS. Give it two-three years. CSU will be good. As far as the statement that UND could beat NDSU this year, nope. I don't think they could. Not with the defense that UND has right now. If they do meet in the playoffs, I would like to think UND could make it interesting.
