It'll be a close game this time. But, I would favor UND. They didn't get that #1 seed over the rodents for no reason. UND will be ready. Besides, no North Dakota men's hockey team has ever lost in the NCAA tournament without the Sioux name on their jersey! So, there ya go!

Reasons that UND is the favorite tomorrow. Odds are that they will win. Why? Three reasons: Yup. Looks like three good reasons to me. UND. #1 Seed. Favored to go to the Frozen Four. Again.

The #1 seed is the better team. That's why it's the #1 seed. The WCHA Tournament Champions, North Dakota, won that on the ice. Minnesota lost. 6-3. Remember? If Minnesota plays North Dakota tomorrow, UND comes in the favorite. Why? Because they are the WCHA Tournament Champions and the #1 seed. #4 in the national polls. Minnesota is ranked lower. All college hockey fans know that. Don't they? hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm? But, we'll see tomorrow if they play who is truly the better team. A #1 ranked North Dakota squad who is favored. Or the Minnesota squad, ranked #2 and is the UNDERDOG in their own town.

Don't you mean you see a way that the #2 seeded Minnesota men's hockey team could upset the #1 seeded North Dakota men's hockey team? Remember, it would be Minnesota upsetting the higher ranked team.

They looked just fine. Still prefer the Sioux jersey. But, WTH? They can win without it!

As far as I can tell, this is the first time UND played in an NCAA tournament game without the Sioux name anywhere on their jerseys. And they won. The sky did not fall down. hmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Wyo, I think some people, for whatever reason, think that the NCAA will change their collective minds if presented facts about their hypocrisy. That just won't happen. Life isn't fair. People need to get over it.

You advocate that the student-athletes should see if they, the NCAA, are bluffing by wearing the Sioux logo, right? If that's the case, they are destroying their chances to win an NCAA title. Was that a "bang-splat" sound I just heard.

St. Cloud State? Never heard of them. Have they done anything important in college hockey? That's probably why I have no memory of them.

I would imagine with the ties they have to the NCAA for more profitable sports, they will adhere to the no nickname policy of the NCAA. But, it will be interesting if they pan to the crowd and show UND Sioux gear on the fans.

Seems like you are more than willing to let some student-athletes destroy their dreams over your fantasy of keeping the Fighting Sioux sweaters on the hockey team forever, aren't you?

It would be kind of funny if they just came out with sweaters that were white with green stripes and numbers and no mention of North Dakota, much less Fighting Sioux.
