  1. Actually, while I think this policy is wrong, I think Kolpack can do everything Schlossman can do. The only thing Kolpack did that he can't anymore is the live pregame show in the parking lot. Maybe technically the live blog.
  2. I would NEVER vote for Hilary either. I wasn't trying to make this political, just trying to equate the "blind" support of an athletic department to the "blind" support some voters give to ANY political party. This year it happens to apply to both major parties. But anybody that thinks Mr. The only thing I can say on the campaign trail is "Crooked Hilary", is the best we can do for a president is blindly following party lines.
  3. Limit access inside venues and to coaches on game days. That is fine. But to not allow a Monday PRESS conference to be broadcast is ridiculous. And taking your radio broadcasts to an entity that has not shown they can perform is risky.
  4. There are no winners here. Jeremy Jorgensen should be fired and sent back to Montana. I had high hopes for Mat Larsen, but if this was his idea he should be let go too. I can see maybe restricting live interviews with head coaches on game day, but not entirely in season. And Imcan see not allowing live video from INSIDE an arena or stadium on game day, but they are being ridiculous. And no, not everybody is doing it. Most colleges would take all of the coverage they can get. They want everybody to tune into their new station on Monday. The problem is nobody knows what that station is. I hope nobody listens. I follow Bisonation on twitter but I don't go to Bisonville so I don't know how they are reacting, but Bisonation is defending the policy. The people that are defending it are equal to the Republicans that actually support Donald Trump. If the Republicans nominated him he must be all right. Just because the NDSU athletic adminstration made a decisIon doesn't mean it is a right decision. I was thinking about sucking it up and paying their per seat fee for 4 MBB season tickets this year. I am not going to anymore.
  5. It was not meant as negative. I don't think any UND fans would come to NDSU games when UND is out of town either, How many UND hockey fans, when UND has an off week, say "I'm going to drive to Bemidji to see the Beavers take on Ferris State"? My guess is not many. Same for FB fans of both teams. Some people are trying really hard to find smack where there is none.
  6. It wasn't a troll comment, it was pointing out there is very little cross over from UND FB to NDSU FB like ther is between SU FB and UND hockey. I wouldn't expect UND FB fans to go to an NDSU FB game when there team is on the road and playing at different times. It wasn't a shot at UND.

    2016 Season

What is the context? Maybe you can explain it to me?

    2016 Season

Kind of hard on your own conference aren't you? There have been an awful lot of BSC teams on NDSU's non-conference schedule lately, including all 3 last year. I know they aren't Drake, Stony Brook, Bob Morris, Univ of Sioux Falls, SD School of Mines, etc. and K-State, Univ of Minn, Iowa , etc. aren't BGSU, Wyoming, SJSU, etc. but not everybody can have as challenging a non-conference schedule as UND.
  9. A large chunk of them will be in Iowa City, and another large group not going to the game will be at watch parties. I think the number of those fans at the Alerus will be able to be counted on you fingers..
  10. I'm sorry, I thought Hayduke was talking about NDSU FB is his post about the Ralph facilities tour. Oh, I jusr read it again and he did compare the two programs. I know The Ralph is a top notch facility that not many, if any, program can match.
  11. No smack here, just wondering why the Bison being on the road makes any difference in the attendance of a UND football game?
  12. Nice try. Very few people outside of GF and the Ralph care much about College Hockey in North Dakota. Maybe the TV contract will prove that. NDSU gets $1.2 million just for a 3-year TV only contract for just football, and there are only 9 or 10 games a year. The last UND contract if I remember correctly was $1 million for 5 years for all UND sports. We will see what kind of bidding war occurs for UND hockey. Maybe I will be proven wrong.
  13. My guess is Idaho is cancelling just their FBS games for the first couple of years thinking there wil be a complete overhaul of CFB by 2020. There is no intention of the WAC/BSC being the sixth G5 conference. If anything, they are hoping to be joining the 2nd tier of CFB with the G5 schools and the top 3 or 4 FCS conferences.
  14. Hey SV, any update? Maybe at media days this week? I sure hope it comes to fruition before 2019. It would be cool to have an FBS team come to the Fargodome.
  15. Where are the posts saying prior to the game thae K-State was going to have their hands full with NDSU? I know there were lots of comments after the game about how terrible K-State was and how they would be lucky to win 2 games, but I don't think there were many before the game.
  16. Souce on what?
  17. Well they returned 11 starters including their entire o-line, which most considered the best in the Big 12, and they ended up 8-5 and beat Michigan 31-14 in a bowl game, but who wants facts. You don't need facts or sources when bashing the Bison. I work with Sioux fans that didn't think NDSU could keep the deficit under 20.
  18. And why UND football will always play second fiddle to UND hockey... And NDSU football...
  19. Those tiny fraction of Bison FB fans are like the UND Hockey fans that think they can beat an NHL team. 99% of Bison fans know it will take an extremely well played game to beat Iowa, but it could happen. I am sure you are one that thought Kansas State would rout NDSU.
  20. No, I didn't see the article. I actually got that from an interview Moody had with Jack Michaels on 740 The Fan. You should listen to it. It is most likely podcast.
  21. What are you implying? Enlighten us.
  22. I get your point, and I would expect Kolpack to mention why a player was tranferring into NDSU no matter what the reason. Shame on him if he wouldn't.
  23. McFeely has been critical of both Brescani and Chapman plenty, but if the SBOHE gives a president a VERY favorable performance evaluation, why not renew his contract. I don't care if you fire him or not, but have the guts to give him a negative review and tell him he is done at the end of his contract. That is what he is saying. Has anybody at the Herald written a story about how badly UND has handled the whole nickname fiasco?
  24. But don't you think it was odd that there was no mention of why the Texas State player was transfering but it was mentioned that the punter was looking to play at a higher level of football? I am making more of a comment about the Herald reporting more than the kid. They go out of their way to not make any waves with UND.
  25. That is because it is the Herald. If you read the column about to two incoming transfers, you wouldn't have a clur the Texas State player was booted off his team, which seems like a pretty big detail to leave out. The Herald sportwriters are as The Common Man would put "Bubba Bobos".
