Maybe you could considering Yale at 10, but that's probably stretching it. Basically, right now a better statement is that the big football schools don't have great hockey teams.

Good to see the refs are FINALLY starting to call the delay of game when coaches try to make changes after an icing. Gwozdecky would do it all the time and the refs wouldn't ever call a penalty on him.

Looked like nasty contact to the head as soon as I saw it the first time. Definitely a 5-minute penalty. Should have been ejected. We're lucky he wasn't.

Couldn't they have done this interview during intermission rather than talking over the first five minutes of the period?

Stetcher took a shot from the blue line, got blocked by a St Cloud player, and Gardner put it in the net.

Once the puck drops, you can't change anything that happened before. I have seen it where a goal wasn't called and play continued for a good long time. At the next whistle it was reviewed to be a goal, so everything that happened in the time between the goal and the eventual whistle got nullified. The clock was reset, and play continued from the time the goal was actually scored. But once the puck drops again, nothing can be done about anything.

At least the color guy didn't continue to complain about that penalty call even though it was questionable. He said he didn't agree with it, but then when Jim continued to whine about it, the other guy (Parrish, can't remember his first name) just said "well, sometimes it happens, gotta move on".

Definitely takes some getting used to, but I'll admit that I like having a nickname again. It wasn't my first choice, but it's almost a relief that the whole mess is over. And while I'm typing this, Hrynkiw makes a brilliant save on a breakaway!
