  1. As far as I can tell there's still more traffic on BV than BS. I'd say there's 10 or so regular posters on BS and probably two-three times that on BV.
  2. More like BV's admin banned them.
  3. If what's best for the state of North Dakota is to have NDSU and UND as strong as possible in all areas, then I think it's best for NDSU and UND to be in the same conference(s).
  4. Of course that's pure speculation and very likely false.
  5. Some teams have started switching to an all fieldturf baseball field (only the pitching mound and home base areas are dirt). Probably something worth considering in our climate.
  6. UND can still keep the same number of scholarships for baseball, 3, and not be penalized. Simply, the maximum number of players that you can spread those 3 scholarships around to is now 12, rather than the maximum roster size.
  7. No. They're saying that IF you offer a scholarship to a baseball player, it has to be at least 1/4 full. You can't give the guy 100 bucks a year.
  8. Wisconsin, Iowa State, Colorado State, Montana, Montana State. None of them have baseball. It makes sense.
  9. I have no doubt that ND players can play at the top level of the FCS.
  10. That was a very foolish move by Seattle.
  11. I'm sure Gonzaga had something to do with Seattle being kept out for now.
  12. I'm almost positive that the WCC is all Jesuit schools. I doubt that they'd consider a public school.
  13. Right. 10 years from now I expect UND to have the indoor practice facility built and to be playing games in the Alerus.
  14. The Gateway is also a realistic possibility.
  15. UAA. And obviously still, it'd have to be a dome. I think Anchorage would support a football team.
  16. It's a shame there's no team up in AK. You'd think UAA could field a pretty decent team just off of in state players.
  17. The Cook Inlet Conference plays solid high school football.
  18. I could see Sac State or Portland State moving up to FBS eventually. If the Big Sky added SUU then the Summit could add Chicago State/UND/USD.
  19. If an alumni donates 300 million to UND, all the power in the world to him, UND and the state of North Dakota.
  20. Who wouldn't be partial to a 300 million dollar stadium rendering?
  21. So you're saying that Hoak didn't want to outbid WDAY and KVRR for the show?
  22. But can you really compare sitting out in the bitter cold wind of Dacotah vs. the climate control of Alerus?
  23. Doesn't surprised me with NDSU and SDSU entering the conference. They'll probably try to take a few Mpls/MN prospects away every season now.
  24. Suit yourself. There isn't a ton of traffic as some go to Bisonville instead. But I think it's a great little forum and I hope it continues to grow in membership. All fans from all schools welcome!
  25. I just don't see why you'd want to go back to outdoor football in your climate. And if you are going to be indoors, then what is the major problem with the Alerus other than capacity and not being on campus? Seems like the money would be better used for an on campus 6-8k basketball arena.
