Obviously the person who painted those boards was a UND fan. That said, I think Goligoski has been a very nice addition the Minnesota D. Hopefully, some NHL team drafts his ass and takes him away.

I tend to agree. As much as McLeod and the other suits would like to mask it, players like Kessel, Toews, Parise and Vanek are never going to play at Mankato or Tech. UND, Minnesota and Wisco have the three largest barns in the country, and go to great efforts to fill them with people looking to watch the next Mondano or Forsberg. Every team has a "star" or two, but when you bring in players that garner national and international ink, the league has a duty to let these guys shine and ensure that some nameless thug doesn't get a "name" by ending their game, or career. "Parity" or not, without the bigger programs filling their barns, and having top talent, the "have nots" would have not a goddamn thing.

TFF! Then again, Saturday's game really didn't have any meaning. Right?

I don't think Lammy's sitting for the past few games is necessarily a reflection of how "bad" he's been playing, so much as how the rest of the team, including JPar, have played. I would expect Hakstol to have Brandt carrying a clip board.

First off, where do you get away with considering anybody who criticizes the team, players, coaches, etc. less than a "fan" than yourself? Were you annointed "guardian of fan quality"? Second, "produce defensive hockey"? WTF is that? Perhaps if the "three horsemen" had played with the fire they demonstrate now and produced accordingly, fifth place in the WCHA would have been more a complete embarrassment than it is now. Third, take your self-righteous, "rah-rah" attitude, put on a skirt and join the cheerleaders.
