Really the state spent $2 million on these plates? Any idea on the resources that are continuously being wasted by LE because their records are consistently wrong when running 28's? And the state is supposed to be running lean right now!

Are you bragging about these numbers as they are supposed to look impressive? You are just showing that fcs football is irrelevant on the national level. With that said people keep in mind college hockey is not the highest level of competition either. Many would argue Canadian juniors have a higher level of talent than NCAA d1 hockey.

I like how they pick up the games with a satellite up/down link. The same equipment they claimed they wouldn't be using when they eliminated fta broadcasts. Business decisions I get it but I don't agree with it and I'll be glad to see any change made. Right now for nationwide viewership most watch with a webcast and what do you think this midco deal has done for the number of people nationwide watching und games? Peace out hammer and midco. It's a good thing KFGO won't require you to sell because you can't sell! Don't let the door hit you on the way out. And I'm glad that und sees they made a mistake by selling out for this midco deal. Learn from your mistakes and move on!

add up the weekend's ticket sales and there are more tickets sold in grand forks. I understand there is more hockey games than football games and all that but if you want to measure fan interest do it by ticket sales. On the real professional stage nfl teams can have near 6 figures of people in the seats where most NHL teams will have around 15,000 but more games. Personally I prefer any hockey but It doesn't matter to me. in the big picture both college hockey and fcs football are irrelevant compared to fbs football and d1 bballwhen it comes to fan interest.

Both are irrelevant in the big picture. But in grand forks there are about 265,000 tickets sold yearly and maybe 40,000 football tickets in the same season so it's easy to see what is more popular in grand forks. Compare this to 150,000 tickets sold annually to ndsu football in Fargo(metro area 4 times bigger than grand forks) and I think it's safe to say what is more popular in the region. Or could the bison sell 30,000 seats per game if they had the facility?

why not? Currently playing them is detrimental to a team's pairwise rankings. I think the rest of college hockey should put their foot down and show the big ten that they aren't the all mighty conference they believe they are in the college hockey world.

I noticed the same thing a lot of embellishment happening by scsu. Maybe they get that attitude from their whiney coaching staff. Anyone else notice the huskies asst coach on his cell phone before asking motsko to call timeout to review the und goal? Since when are coaches allowed to talk on cell phones on the bench?

I can't even get their channel and I'm in North Dakota. I'm hopeful und will think outside the box and decide to produce their own games in the near future to allow increased viewership.

Why is drake being suspended when the nchc rule states if this contact happens 3 times he will be suspended for a game? Or would this be an additional game suspension on top of the 1 per contact to the head penalty?

Just checked tpt mn PBS channel. My ota program guide shows "wcha hockey" it will be on. Just don't be surprised to see it cut randomly to a PBS regional channel lineup with silly music for 15 seconds at a time maybe 5 times throughout the game during play!
