Didn't mean to start a embarassing or delusional thread...just wanted to see if people felt UND could compete against the major junior teams. I was sitting next to a couple Manitoba fans at this weekend's game who told me UND plays a level below the WHL/OHL and I've always thought UND could probably beat most of those teams.

Does anyone have any thoughts on how the Sioux would fare against major junior teams in Canada? Is there a reason we don't schedule an exhibition game against one of those teams instead of the Bisons?

I just picked it up on dish network for 3 payments of 49.99. I understand this will include the new to th US NHL Network (which won't be available on MIdco) as well as a number of the games in HD!!!! Can not wait for the season to start.

Anyone on here with Dish Network that purchases NHL Center Ice? Usually they have an early bird special available around this time, but I called and tried ordering it for the season and it is currently not available and they wouldn't give me any information whether it would be available or not. I know it can be purchased on Directv...so I may need to switch. Anyone with any inside info as to if it will be available on Dish?
