Add in mlgc servicing cable in northwood, finley, enderlin, and kindred. You'd think that with all the people as of now that will be left in the dark midco would open up their ears and sell the fta signal but they are refusing.

Yes the viewing options are different and many fans who have had access through traditional means to sioux sports in the past no longer have access or have very limited access now. We are a few days away from the first football game and there are still unanswered questions.

This is an option for you. But many of us are rural, have no access to midco or any cable for that matter, and don't have access to high speed internet without paying through the teeth for enough data to stream.

And statewide.....which many of us are rural and have no access to their programming...not trying to jump to any conclusions here other than the fact that many of us won't have access this year:-(

I also live outside the midco footprint. 16 miles out of grand forks. No high speed internet options out here either because height of trees. Please tell us that that we will have the same availability for tv coverage moving forward that we have had in the past.

You're not too far out there! Shooting birds up that way would be fun;-). First thing you'd need is a good clear view to the southern sky. I just completed my setup with a hd receiver and a motor. Psb who is a member here can get you everything you'd need for the dish setup and myself and other members who have the fta systems could give you all the info you'd need to get it up. Unfortunately like sprig mentioned we won't know for sure if the games will be itc til later this month.

Does this receiver pick up other channels in hd with a 90cm dish? If the sioux remain on fta next season i might just need to invest in one of these and a motor.

Greatsiouxnation is spot on. In many locations you can pick up all your locals in hd with rabbit ears. Pair this with a fta system for sioux games and a hdd dvr....and no more monthly bills for tv! And fssn via fta satellite has great picture quality. Talk to psb if you have questions about what system to go with. My fingers are crossed that the games will continue to broadcast in fta next season.
