I've stayed at the amway grand hotel and they have a small variety of restaurants....similar to canad inn in Gf. Forgot name of their sports bar but I had a lot of fun there and there was a ton of hockey fans.
Yeah I have no clue! The only time I've ever seen it packed for first round was when the gophers were in town.
Guessing there will be many open seats this weekend.
If midco is counting on email requests to directv in order to get added as an rsn....that shows you right there how much of a hope they have to be added.
I've seen how both dish and direct tv work through some personal experiences. You get a cookie cutter response for these types of requests. Even if directv gets tens of thousands of these requests I doubt they'll blink an eye at it. Directv has already trumped Sioux programming for other games all year long. They only have so much bandwidth to show so many things and I'd venture to guess it boils down to ratings.
If midcosportsnet wants to sell their programming they'll need to bring a successful track record to the table. The big ten network has done it. Can midco do it? Sure they can. Problem is midcosportsnets current footprint's population is minute compared to the big ten. I'd like to see it happen but won't hold my breath.
Id bet the Chances of dish or directv picking up midcosportsnet is very very slim.
Don't get me wrong I'd be very happy if it happened but I wouldn't count on it.
When I had dish network there was no full time fcs channels. Has this changed? Midco offers the fcs channels full time and I'm sure some other cable companies do as well.
I don't think any of the fcs games are available on dish network.
Directv has skipped over a handful of Sioux hockey games this year for other programming on their extra sports channels. Most recent that comes to mind was a bison basketball game that was aired instead of the Sioux/Wisconsin or was it bemidji? game.
If St. Cloud, und, and Minnesota all make the final 5 Minnesota is given the night game on Friday for attendance reasons. For seeding purposes this will put und at the Thursday night game.
No problemo. Some of the craigslisters were getting on my nerves with what they were asking for these tickets....so get the word out great seats are still available direct at the box office!
I found tickets.
Some of the sellers were asking a lot of money upwards of $100 per seat per night. Ripoff! Got 6 lowers all togethor at the Ralph for $20 per game.
The ralph has plenty of lowers available! Don't overpay the money hungry!
