Not talking about sightlines. It is not a hockey-specific venue, that is for sure. The third level is worthless, as far as I'm concerned, even on the rail. I'm talking about the overall college hockey experience. I haven't seen nearly as many rinks as most people on this board (or probably you), but I can compare it to Mariucci, the Ralph, and a several others. Wisconsin fans just like to have fun, and it shows. I've gone to games there wearing Sioux colors when I was alone, with my kids, with friends, and with just my wife, and I've never encountered anything but good-natured ribbing. Seriously rude behavior happens, I know, like it does anywhere there are a lot of fans and too much booze, but if you keep your sense of humor, they will too 90% of the time.
