  1. I like all this advice us slobs have to give.
  2. Boys need to show a little more discipline. This game could get away from them if they keep going into the box.
  3. More PP time.
  4. Pay a few bucks and watch, M.
  5. Boys played well that period. Could have been 3-1. Mittlestadt timed that little pass to Pitlick perfectly.
  6. I like having the gophs as a rival, going all the way back to hating on Bill Butters in the old barn. That's not to say you can't go out on your deck and tell by the smell that they're in town.
  7. Hot place in early 70s. Wasn't there a place in EGF at around that time called the Riverbend which often had two bands playing?
  8. Whiteys, Frenchy's, Peanut bar at the Ho
  9. Playing your first game against the gophers is a tough assignment.
  10. All valid criticisms. I like that they found a way to win.
  11. I liked him a lot.
  12. Dang. He was my blue collar man
  13. Gornall gets the hatty tonight.
  14. This team just isn't fulfilling Ogie's needs. Is there a trade deadline?
  15. I guess burd needs to work on his delivery.
  16. I'd be satisfied with a 500 season and maybe a tournament berth if we could just shed that image of being mean, dirty players. We are not savages.
  17. One of the things I like to look at this time of year is their ability to handle adversity. It's early, and there are some encouraging signs, but it looks like this fanbase has some room to improve.
  18. If he's got some Trupp in him, I like him.
  19. Adams looks like a really nice player.
  20. A lot of players there the gophers didn't want.
  21. He was a goal tender in Dostoevsky's The Idiot?
  22. Lumberdome with DU in January. 20 below. Only a couple hundred would be able to watch it, but if you're one of them . . .
  23. My man Gornall will come in like a prairie thunderstorm and pour forth points upon the land.
  24. We need to keep the elite players coming in, but I'm OK with having a couple of years of guys staying more than two years. I know these guys are all good enough to want to play hockey for a living at some level, but I'd kind of like to see how it would go with more players staying with the team/university culture a little longer. That said, I also know we wouldn't have won #8 without some high draft picks on the team.
