I feel the same way.

I know there are all kinds of cliché's about how the team needed to win this tournament, but I'm not very upset about this loss. Call it a bit of superstition or just playing the odds. The burned a loss and got a little reminder today that it's balls to the wall. The ONLY factor that counts, in my opinion, is Cam's confidence. Hope that didn't get shaken today. Four in a row starting next week.

UND's record is now 30-5-3, I think. They haven't accomplished anything in the NCAAs, but I don't think a UND team has ever lost fewer than 7 games in a season. Among teams that won the banner, the 1963 team lost 7. The Circus lost 8. Among other good teams, the '03-04 team lost 8, and the '10-11 team lost 9. If they do not win their last game, many will say this year was a fail, but it has already been something special.

It's not going to be like this next week, which is a good thing, with regionals around the corner.

If we lose a game to CC, people will certainly say they overlooked them, but CC has proven it's capable of playing very well. Which is odd, because they usually suck.

Cam has been a better goalie this year than Zane was last year, IMO. Will he have an off game in the NCAAs? Possibly. Zane certainly did. Whatever happens going forward, what he has done this year is pretty unimpeachable regardless of whom you compare him to.

I think he's right: CC will keep it tight for about two minutes, then all he!! will rain down on them.

I think Boeser needs to work on his defense. He works hard and back-checks, but he has a tendency to be careless in our zone. Does that require professional experience? I don't know.

I think many of us are hoping against hope that Schmaltz will stay so Jost can join those two. Don't think it will happen, but a girl can dream. But man, there could be some serious departures at the blue line.

We know Michigan is young, talented, and dangerous, but they evidently have some consistency problems.

Things would be much different with a multigame format, but that is not going to happen in college sports, and it's more exciting this way.

The truth. Although I can't find it on youtube, I recall thinking we caught a break when Clemmensen let in Goren's game-tying goal in '00. Seeing that goal again might prove me wrong, but I think it was one a good goalie will usually stop. Clemmensen was definitely good, but he had his moments.
