Newman was certainly left out to dry several times but he also wasn't much of a goalie, at least in that game. Must have struggled with geometry in school.

You must not have been paying attention before the season started. There were more than one person posting that fans should not expect the same things from David Toews as we got from Johnny. Why the name creates the same expectations is anyone's guess. DT did not put up the same stat sheet at Shattuck as JT did. Nor was DT creating the same sort of buzz or publicity in hockey circles, nor was he chosen for his team's junior team like his brother was, etc. That's not to say David Toews is not or will not be a good player for the Sioux. But JT was special and DT is a different player. Let's appreciate DT for who he is and not who we want him to be.
