I liked the UAA announcer though. Really got into the game and didn't whine. What were the line combo's tonite. I know the Parise line was back intact but the others looked like this and I missed somebody: Notermann - Lundbohm - ? Spiewak - McMahon - Hale Prpich - Genoway - Canady Was Connelly playing and I just didn't hear his name? Or Marvin? After game comments by a UAA assistant coach said they really wanted to pressure the Sioux defense when they had the puck because if you do "they WILL turn the puck over". But he wasn't happy they didn't do that, OR put the puck on net because Siembida "every time we shot there was a rebound". Interesting to hear the opposing coach comments.

Great game by the Sioux tonite. Sounded like the kind game that we expect from the Fighting Sioux. Score was only 4-2 but from listening to the UAA feed it sounded like Reiter? their goalie really stood on his head, and his only real blunder was his ill-fated clearing attempt that McMahon potted. Am curious what those of you who attended thought? I think the Sioux had a lot of shots on goal and gave up very few, I mean low teens. Sioux feed was down so we had to listen to the AA feed so we may be short of some info from the Sioux perspective. UAA announcer said it easily could have been 8-2.

That is great news that they have the ice figured out. teams should be able to skate on good ice. Big news in Virg's column today, for sure. Too much to hope that Crosby goes the college route. Maybe we should ask Herbie to consult again like he did with Parise!

I like to hear Blais public comments on the goaltenders. Question on the World Junior Tournaments. What year would that be for? I also like Blais' comments on Hale and McMahon's potential to score. I agree and hope to see it start to happen soon. I realize that I am reading someone's synopsis of an interview they heard on the radio(?) but there seems to be an optimistic tone to Blais comments. Forecheck, is that the way you heard it too? Thanks for taking the time to post. This stuff is great for us who can't listen in.

Anyone else impressed with Duluth? Tie and a very close loss at home with CC Win and a tie on the road against AA Win and a loss on the road against Denver Could be the surprise team of the WCHA if this keeps up.

Massen showed unbelievable reflexes on his PP goal on Friday I thought. He had only an instant to react and get the puck UP and he did so. Was fun to watch the reply over and over on tape.

Thanks for the Student ticket suggestion. Hate to wait that long to know for sure we can get through the door, however it is pretty good fall back plan.

Gotta pat Notermann on the back. There is a guy who really seems to have stood up this season. One of those unsung heroes for his first 3 years, this year he seems to be making some plays that result in goals. Too bad Friday went the way it did but once again nice to see Notermann and Massen scoring and if they can keep this up it goes a LONG way for the Sioux's scoring depth. One very important factor. Great job, Notermann!

Yes, a scary scary picture. Things happen really fast. It's not surprising to me that the guys thought something innappropriate happened and responded in what I consider a proper manner. If this happened a lot then maybe you can make a case for goonery. As it is, it may have been a mistake but doesn't make the guys wrong.

kr that sounds like an excellent idea and if I was in charge it would be done. With the big scoreboard it sounds like an excellent way to use it to educate the fans during period breaks, etc.

I couldn't find it there either. Bought tickets through that last year for the AA series myself.

3 or 4 of us are planning at trip to the Forks for the CC series Jan 3&4. However it looks like our tickets for Sat Jan 4 have fallen through. We're ok on the 3rd. Thought I would just throw out that we are looking for 3 or possibly 4 tickets for that Sat game if anyone is aware they won't be using theirs. (preferably together). We are working some angles but thought I would throw it out here too. Thanks

Bad Eagle makes a lot of sense here. The issue isn't the logo, it is people's conduct and their taste, or lack of it. The logo should be positive. It should be uplifting. People who want to remove the logo will not solve the ultimate problems perceived related to the logo. This has been argued by many of us already, so it is not news but it is nice to hear again from someone who seems more "involved" in this issue. One hopes that over time those opposed to the logo can also appreciate this position.

I believe Friday's game will be on.
