The story also led off with a comment about their sentances for "underage drinking pleas", and only later in the story said that it was for being a minor on premises. That seems a little misleading.
I doubt this would leave a bad taste in his mouth. These are his own actions, and it's not like the city is turning on him. He has to do the time if he does the crime. I would guess we fans will be more than forgiving to him.
Now, what would internal discussions at UND have to do with whether the NCAA violated it's own procedures? This makes no sense to me. Somehow that isn't surprising.
I agree, the NCAA could make a big public relations coup by spinning this whole fight as a school that sold its soul to a nazi-loving bigot. We know it's not that way, but they could spin it that way.
He looks like and is built like a 10 year old. He's just stepping into his game, especially with the rules changes. IMO, what's not to like? That's ok, when we pick teams he can be on mine.
