As of today he is no longer with the team. He will be heading to the OHL to continue his career. Best of luck to him and wherever he ends up Im sure he'll be of some help.

i saw both too, and i thought he skated well also, but that doesnt mean he did anything. i just think there is a good spot that hes taking up and until he decides to put up some points (seeing he has only 10 in his career) im not going to say hes worthy of a spot. now radke has more points but he also should because of appearing in more games. the only big difference i see is radke isnt afraid of taking some hits and giving some hits, also while making some nice passes and shot attempts once in a while. he has the ability to get this team jacked up sort of like prpich was. where as i see martens showing no emotion out there and seems like hes always along for the ride, not contributing a thing. there you have it, my opinion, and only that. FOR THE RECORD, this isnt a bash on martens he has shown some sparks here and there, but please and i say please, play like you wanna be on this team and play like a leader on that 4th line when youre the only veteran up top with radke out.

ive been wondering the saaaame thing about martens. instead of everyone pissing and moaning about radke and how he shouldnt be playing. he has a lot of heart and energy that he brings into the game that ijust dont see martens giving. i would like to see a trupp, radke, forney line much more than what we saw tonight.

im pretty sure he wont be playing on the second line. hes been practicing all week with the 4th liners.

he IS huge now. if anyone has seen him recently he is built like a brick ****house. the only reason i ask, is because i had heard a few things from pretty reliable sources that he was having some trouble in practice the other day. things along the line of an upper body injury suffered in the game last weekend.

does anyone know for sure the reason forney played over radke, or is it just assumed he got scratched? i have a sneaking suspicion there is somewhat of another factor going on here. i could be wrong, but did he suffer any big hits in the game this past friday?

something gives me a gut feeling it will be more than a year if he doesnt improve a lot.

i think the cavalry would be a cool name also. or fighting cavalry. roughriders seems a little bit unoriginal since red river already posseses that name..

brad is most likely going to be out 6-8 weeks. cant tell what happened but you can be assured it will most likely be longer a month.

did anyone see the practice yesterday?? i dont remember seeing forney there, but maybe he was on the other side of the rink the whole time.

well i havent talked to him or his brother since last year, but from what i was told then he was very interested in coming here. im not sure you guys know him or have seen him play, but i can tell you hes definitely got potential to be a very good dman. to be completely honest he really kind of reminds me of goligoski. hes about the same size and plays a lot like him. he and his brother both have awesome shots. now the only thing he needs to do is stay healthy.

ive posted this before, but as far as the nate schmidt thing goes und has been his dream school for as long as i can remember.. (i graduated from cathedral with his brother)

my opinion and ONLY an opinion, is that both towns are shitholes and both have nothing to do but maybe bowl, drink, or...drink i guess. oh but i gotta side with GF for housing the mighty hockey team. that makes my life much more enjoyable when im up there.

im hoping he does too, but its not a good sign when hes out watching the ahl team when finals are coming up. im picking the wild card with toews staying just because i think he cares too much about what his friends are doing, and so far, theyre all staying.

since ive been dead on with predictions this year, ill throw this out.. toews doesnt make team canada and stays.. finley on the other hand is gone
