  1. How about Virgil Hill's success? That could "arguably" be considered one if not the greatest ND sports stories. His performance on the world stage was notable. Perhaps our NDSU friends really meant to say this was the greatest sports moment in Fargo, in mid-March 2016.
  2. And, well, there's that former Member of Congress thing. Truly displays his ignorance.
  3. Wonder how the liberal educational elite will handle this...ha.
  4. klobuchar.... Ugh.
  5. Didn't realize FDA, ATF, and the laws were reclassified. Will have to review those news rules today.
  6. Every former local LEO I work with disliked traffic stops and only did so for crazy insane violations. As for what's going on in GF, I don't know. But I can say with certainty that every drug offense will be processed, while minor alcohol offenses will, well, depends on the factors/situation. I feel for the student athletes... But, any drug possession will get you busted in almost every jurisdiction. Sucks for them...hope they learn(ed) something from this.
  7. Law enforcements officers do not normally issue traffic violations to other LEOs...regardless of the offending officer's jurisdiction. However, if the violation involves more than one responding officer, those numbers decrease, as does the severity of the offense. DUIs involving property damage, for example. Xcel Energy employees may get free entrance into events... LEOs don't get traffic tickets. Get over it. Recent alcohol violations involving hockey players do not fit your theory that minorities, or alcohol violations, are treated differently in Grand Forks.
  8. This angle (from the referee's perspective -- unobstructed and 10 feet from the play) appears to show Pogo ahead of the Dog when hit from behind. I can see why it was called. But enough said... and I can't believe I'm defending a ref. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zHrNQYJ7q6c
  9. The Dog was at least one stride behind just before clipping the pogo from behind. 8 out of ten refs I spoke with said it would have been called. Meets requirements. Move on.
  10. This is a series post? Huh.... Fat bottomed girls you make the rockin' world go round
  11. Scoreboard summary: Scored a goal in first game. 15 min in penalities in second game. No longer on roster.
  12. What will be the University's nickname and logo after the nickname is retired? The University’s athletic teams will be called UND or “North Dakota,” and will use the current interlocking ND logo.
  13. Your thought is missing critical analysis... definition of what was meant by new.
  14. It has to many discussing this topic. I'm still searching for these specific offenses you speak of. Seems UND has complied with everything requested of it... including dropping its former nickname and ultimately choosing a new one, even if that new one is simply no name at all.
  15. Same would go for no nickname, ND, sun whatever's, etc... "Not our problem...we dropped that name."
  16. Same scenario goes for North Dakota nickname.
  17. Let me save you the suspense.... UND will forever be a few malt liquors and an SU student, or equal, away from these incidents.
  18. So, a guilty until proven innocent approach then?
  19. Just for clarification, what are these factual negatives no nickname presents?
  20. So, you have insider information validating this. Or your opinion? I suspect the latter.
  21. Yikes... trekkie alert.
  22. When did the NCAA make this determination? I missed that press release.
  23. I guess I missed this part of the debate, but what exactly are these consequences you speak of... and why would an institution suffer any for choosing a new nickname by incorporating it's geolocation? Seems like a made-up argument meant to bolster an opinion.
