To be clear, the New American knows jack about the past and active travelor situation in this community.

In Minneapolis they have been an excellent source, farm club if you like, for Al-Shabaab and ISIL. Their activities have required the need for additional federal and state/local law enforcement. I guess that's part of what they bring to the table.

So, by this argument, the new nickname may not have been used... ever? Completely new? Original? That's quite a leap.

The settlement demands UND end its use of Fighting Sioux and select a new nickname. It doesn't state anywhere that no nickname isn't an option. If the parties were concerned about that adaptation, or the use of "North Dakota," as its new nickname, perhaps that specific language should have been placed in the settlement. I suppose we can agree that legal settlements are not the place for imprecise, interpretable language.

So, to answer my previous question... the settlement does not state or imply that the new nickname and logo could not be North Dakota/crossing ND... or dropping FS and having no nickname would result in the perpetual use of the old one.

You have been beating this drum since the beginning. Is there a quote or link to the actual language in the settlement that states anything near "having none would result in the perpetual use of the old one?" And "new" doesn't meet that requirement. Thanks.

Always amazed by "intent to blow the whistle" claims. From the video, the ref's whistle hand appears clearly at his side, with no apparent movement upward to blow. It only moved after the puck was in and out. It's a horrible allowance for ref's to amend their shortcomings. The officials screwed up and should be punished by the league. I challenge the press corps, university athletics to put pressure on the league. Make them own this embarrassment.
