I wouldn't be surprised if B1G offers the Aggies as a shot across the bow at SEC. They may be interested in ditching UT again. Grab them and the golden domers and Big 10 supremacy is established. They then pick the carcasses of what's left (some ACC teams and a couple other SEC schools ans possibly Kansas) and a national college league is born.

The right guy could get things turned around in a hurry. No reason Miami has to be a perennial bottom feeder. They need someone with winning pedigree.
-
I think this might be the only scenario to get 6 NCHC teams in. What a headache for the bracketologists if this shakes out. You Are The Committee : College Hockey News

UMass has to beat BC to stay ahead, not a foregone conclusion.
-
They need BC to beat UMass. That's the crucial game. Quinny winning ECAC is big as well.

Back in the day the scratches would typically be in the press box not the seats

I'm hopeful that Schiller brings a winning attitude to the locker room. I can see her helping turn things around, or hitting the portal within a year. Team didn't seem to develop at all, which is very concerning. another sub 10 win season and I think you have to look hard at a coaching change.

It's a pretty basic HR role in any decent sized operation, I'd be pretty shocked if they don't. She's also a contractor, so this is clearly on an as needed basis, which makes sense.

losing in 3 should be ok. Remember that other than the conference champion, everyone is going to take a loss at some point, so not everyone can move up. Plus the strength of the NCHC and those bubble teams playing each other will help out there respective strength of schedule. If Western can sweep SCSU, they will also flip there comparison by evening up head to head and they would probably be solidly in the tournament. CC also flips their comparison with Omaha if they win the series, even in 3 games. St. Cloud would need a lot of help to get an at large, sweeping Western would keep the door open, but it's not very wide.
-
If Zmolek is back for the home stretch I like our chances.
-
Top 2 in home sweeps, Western in road sweep and CC in 3. That probably results in 5 NCHC teams making the tourney, barring stunners in Big 10 and Hockey East. I think CC Omaha winner is a tourney lock, and unless a sweep loser is pretty well positioned. Western should be in if they get by SCSU, Huskies probably need to get to the final to be in. Duluth is probably in the "so you're saying there's a chance" realm, and Miami should just dust off the golf clubs.

UND is moving in the right direction. Would like to see a deeper rotation next year, should have confidence in more than just 7 guys. Also need to work on D and definitely up the shooting percentage from 3 if we are going to continue shooting at volume. Despite the Onaha loss I feel better about BB next year than I do FB.
-
2 threes on final possessions didn't help. Take it to the bucket. Probably should have taken a TO when they cut ut to 3. We looked a little lost. If this really stings, could motivate everyone to work harder for next year.
-
What a terrible ending. No way they should have lost that. Unbelievable
-
Terrible possession for UND. Needed to go onside with all their foul trouble. Wtf.
-
They quit running the offense and stopped hitting the boards. Better wake up or season will be over. Need a solid possession here and not just an undisciplined 3.
-
Like to see a little more lateral puck movement especially 5 on 3. Had the same issue the 5 on 3 last week against Western. I know we've had success with the screener, but I wouldn't mind seeing us make the goalie move a little more.

Thanks for the insight. I get that. Yet despite missing the tournament 3 times, we still have a natty during Berry's reign as well as as the what if of 2020. To act like he won a natty in year 1 and has been uncompetitive since is just wrong. His 2 best teams since 2016 faced outcomes that had no precedent. We'll see what happens this year.

To be fair, Berry has never lost an NCAA tourney game in regulation. Puck luck is a funny thing in a one and done and we don't have any clunkers where we didn't show up.
-
Yes. 1959. UNDs first title.
-
UND has typically won its nattys by knocking on the front door as a conference champ vs sneaking in the back by just getting lucky and banking on 2 good weekends. Fun fact, UND is last independent to win a natty.

Congrats on the Pebrose. Huge accomplishment. Special team

Let's gut Ludvig a goal here

I have nothing against them, I just need evidence rather than handing them things on potential. To the the big ten has any interest in them is delusional. First, Minnesota would never let that happen and they in no way have a brand that would merit inclusion either as a school or hockey program. They are not Notre Dame or Johns Hopkins, the only Big Ten affiliates. The fact that they went non schollie in football shows they don't have a bottomless pit of cash for athletics. So I don't have anything against them, but just because they had some success when they were a big fish in a small pond, I'm not convinced they will become some kind of juggernaut. DU has the same advantages and more visibility nationally but by no means dominate in the Summit League. I need to see some evidence of prolonged success before I fear losing them to greener pastures.
