I put my UND education to good use, thanks. Nothing small-minded about understanding the realities of geography, the market size of Grand Forks and that College football is about as financially balanced as MLB, and in in FBS, we would be the Pirates and not the Yankees or Dodgers. It's more likely that a lot of the smaller conferences get sent packing. TV only cares about the big brands and the FBS is controlled by the conferences not the NCAA. Very like that a private equity fueled super league is on the horizon. Preparing for that eventuality makes sense.

UND isn't in the arms race for FBS. Rewatch the end of WarGames. There's a lesson to be learned.

It was also our 3 toughest fcs opponents of the year and they had 8+ games of tape. Sometimes you have to take what the defense gives you rather than thinking you can always impose your will. Also really need to get Jerry comfortable going under center. His apparent inability or discomfort with that does put limitations on what you can do on the Red zone.

Well, the goal at the beginning of the season was to be playing in Tennessee in the postseason. Mission accomplished! Now let's start rewriting the narrative and get some playoff W's.

Asking the right questions. Playoffs should be priority, FBS games don't help get you there. Home games also more valuable to the community.
