  11. The audio has been choppy but no problems with the video.
  12. I have one... it gets burried with me.
  13. I have pondered it and yes, we would have "gotten" both of them without the incremental revenue provided by the Ralph.
  14. So why doesn't Scott just say "not interested" and end all speculation, rather than "no comment"?
  15. In Virg's column in today's Herald, Sandy is still not commenting on his interest in the job because the job hasn't been opened to outside candidates yet. I think this sends a message that he will listen if UND comes calling. If he wasn't interested in the job, then he might as well state that and end all speculation. I really hope he is the next coach at UND. I just don't think Hakstol is the right guy. Of course, hiring from outside will prolong the process a bit, but I think it is worth a bit of pain now rather than make a hasty decision that we will have to live with for years to come.
  16. Good points sagard, though I consider York to be part of the "untouchable triumvirate" with the others being The Don and Red.... yeah, you should also throw Parker in there as well I guess. In some respects, this is not the ideal time for Sandy to leave UMD since he has some unfinished business to do there. On the other hand, his stock may never be higher and if he ever had aspirations to be the head coach at his almamater this is an opportunity he may never have again. Certainly, there are factors that none of us may be aware of that may keep him in Duluth, but he would be my first choice followed by Steve Johnson. The thing about Hakstol kind of being an a$$ hole still bothers me.
  17. Wasn't there quite a bit of talk here a while back about Hakstol being an a$$ and being one of the reasons we didn't land a recruit (I think it was Irman we were talking about). I don't recall the specifics, but I do recall the thread.
  18. Been there.... I like that too.
  19. I, for one, enjoy nothing more than peeing in a trough (except maybe peeing in the old Whitey's urinals that went all the way to the floor)... can't explain why.
  20. I think that was Jim's point... from a capitalist perspective, is the Ralph better off in the long run doing the tours for free in hopes of generating additional revenues down the road from ticket and merchandise sales? Drug company reps take doctors out for lunch and dinner all the time... not becuase they're simply nice people, but because they are trying to generate some downstream benefit. Certainly the Ralph needs to cover their operating expenses and we all want to see that the buliding is maintained in top condition so that it is not a $100M pile of junk in 20 years. But this is a bad move by the Ralph IMO.
