  1. No problem with any of that. No one's butt hurt either. Just honestly curious why folks would want to limit their social media interactions to places predominated by those who think alike. Getting broader exposure to more varied voices would be more desirable, I'd think. Echo-chamber think would get really boring after a while. That's why it's so fun to lurk here where varied perspectives abound.
  2. So much wrong with this reply. Don't know where to even start so I'll head back to work and let all you full-time SS employees hash it out.
  3. You mean driving his target into the turf? Yes, me likes!
  4. How much different would Doug’s election margin of victory have been had he pulled this earlier? Oh welp, at least we’ve got Dr. Becker and the Bastiats to save the day.
  5. Bump A big salute to my brothers and sisters in arms today as we celebrate all of our Veterans and all those who have served this great nation. Happy Veterans Day!
  6. Caleb Nero = Transfer Tyree IHENACHO = New freshman
  7. Put down the covfefe .... as if marble mouth Donny never had a tussle with the English language in Tweet and in speeches. .
  8. A conservative publication no less. Wow! Just wow.
  9. ANN. The “Al” News Network — where only one ox is ever “Gored” and a vote in the hand is worth 2 in the “Bush.” LOL!
  10. No disagreement there. With you all the way on all that. Who wouldn’t vote for me? Problem is I have a worse memory than Joe and less ambition than Donny.
  11. I think it’s also acceptable to our friends on the left if the vast majority of said group is wearing a mask. But then again I didn’t get the memo either.
  12. Yes, there are good people ... er, I mean whack jobs on both sides. Not a news flash.
  13. Good point! You never know, though, these days. Anything could happen. Let’s just say, I would not be surprised if someone presented some sort of example from the Internets. I think counseling will continue to be given to all students for any reason they present a need regardless of college. Strange times. The divide is real.
  14. Yup. I’m sure one will be able to find examples of all that over the next several months if they look hard enough. Sad state of affairs from both sides.
  15. Very little apparently. Other than players have flip flopped. Same divide. Different year. Wash. Rinse. Repeat. Won’t be long until “Not my President” chorus from the right side of the tabernacle.
  16. Hasn’t been for years.
  17. I saw that too. Yikes.
  18. I've seen mostly upperclassmen. i.e. Holm, Canady, Brock, etc.
  19. Good way to accentuate and promote the current brand and retain control/ownership of the old.
  20. I was going to say that about pretty much all of you —- or maybe retired and nothing better to do.
  21. They are saying the players weren't all symptom free. That's all.
  22. I was curious, too, about this... yet, although the physical distancing is piss poor -- about as poor as at most DT rallies, of late -- when I strain my eyes and look at this image of the march, I can only make out 1 marcher (for sure) who is sans face covering. I am sure there are others. But it is an impressive display of folks adhering to a recommendation, IMHO.
  23. She kicked a$$. That said, I will never understand choosing personality over policy. A good smile and a smooth disposition are a dime a dozen among people who will promise the world and then bend you over when it suits them.
  24. That was my thought, too. It seems that the market has traditionally surged initially when the President's party doesn't change on election day but seems to initially dip when there's a change in party .... before moderating after a few weeks. Markets above all else like predictability.
  25. Interesting article on MVFC Athletics programs. WARNING: there’s an equestrian reference in Buuny Town. https://www.postguam.com/sports/nation/sports-column-todd-hefferman-the-haves-and-have-nots-of-the-mvfc/article_a518fb95-59ec-58b3-946e-e6f295608085.html From the article: No. 2 — North Dakota's money train NDSU's football team made more money than any other program at any other school in the MVFC, and still lost money. The University of North Dakota men's hockey team made almost as much, $5.69 million in fiscal year 2019, and had a profit of a whopping $1,230,719. The UND men's hockey team, the heart and soul of the athletic department there, drew $4.05 million in ticket sales and more than $244,000 in donations. Even with the head coach making $481,299, the program made a huge profit and helped the Fighting Hawks come out ahead more than $84,000 last year. Check out the Alerus Center if you make the trip with the football team this spring to Grand Forks, North Dakota.
