  1. He has mastered the art of trolling just as you have.
  2. Call me disappointed. Game one and Brad Berry is talking about passengers. So much for the lip service of we know every game counts, and every period starts at zero.
  3. All I know, is that if I hear after this weekend that "we need to learn how to bring it all the time", I will be very disappointed.
  4. Why have they scheduled Minnesota Duluth the past few years then? If it's o.k. to schedule them non conference, then it shouldn't be that degrading to play them in conference. But then again, it's Notre Dame, and they think they are better than they really are.
  5. Remember the vilification heaped on UND and some of the others that left the WCHA? Listening to fans of some of the Big Ten teams was particularly funny as to the forming of the new conference. With the small time thinking of some of the schools left in the WCHA, and even more concerning an extension for Bruce McCloud rather than a vote of no confidence, it is not surprising that they made this move. One cringes to think where we would be right now if we stayed in the WCHA.
  6. Notre Dame was very particular about having their own TV package.
  7. Have 1 ticket, section 302A Row G, right above entry way in upper deck, end where UND shoots twice.
  8. That's what I looked up before I got my tickets. It seems odd that UND doesn't take the Wrangler's bench. It surprises me that a lot of venues, especially hockey venues, have no clue where each team shoots twice when they are selling tickets. I would bet they are asked that question numerous times, at least I ask it or research it before I get my tickets. Just disappointed this time that UND did the opposite of what the home team does.
  9. It was in an information packet about the event.
  10. Have a hard time listening to games because I go nuts when I hear the phrase when the puck is in UND's end, "cleared but not out". Have to have that visual confirmation.
  11. I see that Minnesota shoots twice on the end with the bowl. Seems odd that UND wouldn't shoot twice on the end with the most fans, as most fans prefer to sit where their team shoots twice. In fact, I thought I looked up where the home team shot before I bought my tickets, and I thought that was the end that they did.

    2018 Season

There is no rule for sports other than football where you can play so many games without losing your redshirt status?
  13. If I worked at a till, I would. For you to disparage hard working people that have those jobs says a lot about you. Work on that bitterness!
  14. I'm not so sure mainstream sports or otherwise should be an area of focus in his life right now anyway.
  15. On replay?
  16. Yes, if anything Duluth got extra time because if they would have scored, the officials would have probably counted it and figured out the clock later. When they saw the clock not going, they needed to fix it.
  17. Yes, i’m sure it was on purpose.
  18. Duluth actually got the whole power play the second time around anyway.
  19. That’s because they are giving $1000 to five people at the end of the season for perfect attendance from a drawing.
  20. My bigger concern is Gardner’s quote to Schlossman that they let up. While it doesn’t count yet, their new mantra of “zero”, starting from scratch every period to add to the legacy of UND hockey, needs to be more than lip service if they are going to change those ties into wins this year. If their adherence to that motto is that short lived, I hope they don’t have to keep learning that lesson that every point counts, and that even losing that 3-0 lead to Miami is what cost them the NCAA tournament. Here’s to hoping that “zero” truly starts against Bemidji State. Gardner also needs to realize as a leader it starts with him, as in “zero” penalties, unless you are stopping a scoring chance. This team can’t afford to take needless penalties.
  21. Probably a good thing they didn’t win 7-1, as many that are judging the game by the score would be talking National Championship already.
  22. I agree that we should be proud at winning a title no matter the level, but if we stayed in Division 2 and were winning titles every year, I would guess the people down south would be saying how cute it is that we won at that level.
  23. He would probably have you believe he goes to games out of a sense of duty to UND, but ultimately if he gives up his seat, there are plenty of people that would be willing to buy it. But certainly the way he "tolerates" hockey is coincidental to how people tolerate the attitude.
  24. Forgot about them. Also, I wouldn't think Costello would be here in 2019.
