Schmidty will do fine as D Cord. It would be awesome if somehow we could put some money together to get Tibs back here for even one year in some capacity. He would boost the staff even further and help player development so much with his knowledge and experience. Very unlikely I know, but I can wish.

We looked good when we moved the ball. Struggled when we got a little selfish. Missed some good looks at the rim in transition. Left about 10 points off the board by missing some bunnies. Defense looked better today. They had 9 points off of 3 point heaves as the shot clock expired. Overall impressions- need to work on the selfish play. Have to move the ball next time we play Weber or we'll get beat again.

I was looking forward to a recruiting weekend but after stepping back and looking at it I don't mind waiting until next weekend. Hopefully get a couple more pieces of the coaching staff in place and let these kids know who they will be playing for. Also give another week to evaluate our needs. Hopefully the recruit in this weekend enjoys his weekend and things get off to a good start.

Our shooters have to shoot against this zone. They aren't even putting up shots. When we get it in the right hands they have to shoot Idaho out of that zone.

I think there were more factors than position coaching going on with that. Offensive playcalling, o-line play, dropped passes, lack of running game, point differentials. I like Danny. Great enthusiasm. I'd be fine keeping him on the staff.
