  1. It was our Super Bowl- he shouldn't be embarrassed.
  2. It's funny that they mistake a team playing with energy for it being their Super Bowl. If their fan base cared about any sport besides football they would expect it from their other teams. For now it's all excuses from their coach and fan base.
  3. Nice win by the team. That was truely team basketball. I can't remember who made the comments about Schuler earlier in the week but he made some key plays tonight. Just a good all around player. Also agree with Huff and Nash being as good of a 1-2 punch as we've had. Our bigs also aren't great, but with 15 fouls between Solmonson, Calcuterra and Traylor I think we'll be alright in league play. Each brings enough to the table. Looking forward to the rest of the season and might have to get some tickets for the Weber St. and Montana games.
  4. You nailed it bin. I didn't agree when you wrote it but nice work.
  5. With wright in foul trouble early we could go small if we want with Nash at the post. Make Bjorlund try and defend Nash cause right now Trayor is struggling.
  6. Bjorkland makes the most nervous. We won't see a big man of his skill set in the Big Sky. We need to get him in early foul trouble but I think the only way we do that is by attacking the rim. Not sure if any of our bigs are enough of an offensive threat to put any pressure on him.

    2013 Playoffs

MVFC only gets two in? Top heavy league. Of all Big Sky teams SDSU could have been matched up with, Northern Arizona is the best matchup for them. They are most like a MVFC offense. After watching that defensive backfield in the game against us, EWU and Montana would throw the ball at will. That game will be the first round match up I'm most looking forward to watching.

    2013 Playoffs

I'm sure you can't. You guys get them at home next year too?
  9. Looking forward to the game tonight and a good atmosphere.

    2014 Recruiting

So was that a direct quote from Bohl?
  11. Congrats ladies. Let's get it done in the post season.
  12. Thank you for posting that darrell. I keep an eye on this but don't follow it close enough. Saturday is going to be a very interesting day for the volleyball team.
  13. Congrats ladies. Is this the first Big Sky championship?
  14. Again, how is this UNDs fault? Back to hypotheticals?
  15. Hey now, the hypothetical scoring comparison is a better way to do things.
  16. We need to get to the hoop and put some pressure on Bjorkland to defend it. With Nash playing both at the hoop and at the arc, Wright will be out of the lane. If we can get into Bjorkland and force him into some foul trouble, FU's backup post players are no better than ours.
  17. .500 at minimum. Don't see the exodus of players others do and I expect a team that plays with discipline. Besides Hardin there was not a lot that graduated. I also don't see us -20 in turnovers either.
  18. He is a great guy as well. Have met him numerous times and was impressed
  19. Huff playing this year will be huge. He will force someone (Braun) to actually work on defense. Nash will also force Wright to have to work on defense. Last year we did not have anyone that was a good match up for him. Braun had 22 last year and Wright had 10 while only having 5 fouls between the 5 and both played over 30 minutes.

    2014 Recruiting

The new coach may have some kids that him and his staff have been recruiting at other schools. I won't completely write off this class or annoint it anything until signing day in Feb. To completely say this class and this recruiting season has been a bust is very premature. I would hope that the previous staff identified a list of 10-20 recruits worth staying in touch with and turned that over to Coach Bachol. Anything outside of that is asking to much and a waste of time.
  21. Sunday night will be a barometer. Need to keep improving inside. Bjorkland will as good of a post player as we'll see in the Big Sky. I was impressed with Nash, he'll be a tough match up for conference teams. Looking for the team to take a big jump from games 2 to 3
  22. Having Wisconsin and FU back to back games will be nice for UND. Both teams play the same type of slower pace offense and will play very good defense. If UND can be efficient on the offensive end and not commit a bunch of turnovers, we will be in the game at the end. Last year we were not 100% healthy in our early non conference schedule so I am looking forward to what a fully healthy bunch (minus Brekke) can do in this early season stretch. I'm excited for the game tonight and wish I had the Big10 network to watch the game.
  23. Its hard for me to knock Bollinger's lack of experience since he was in the NFL prior to coaching. He has been around football and coaching his entire life. Any coach with D1 experience is going to be a past head coach who possibly was released from a prior role or a coordinator or position coach looking to move up the ladder. Brooks fits the second description so I have no problem taking a chance on him if he's interested. If he surrounds himself with some great postion coaches and coordinators he would be a great fit.
  24. I agree with this.

    Fire Muss

Unless there is a leak in the media the only way you hear anything about this is through a press conference. Faison has shown in the past with other incidents he likes to control the message- regardless of he is deciding to keep the coaching staff or not. I'm also guessing the players would be addressed as well.
