they are as much a quality loss as Eastern Illinois is a quality win.
 -
Congrats to all the guys who won the awards and the team in general. UND is finally starting to get some recognition in this conference and it is because the play of the team this year.
 -
But a 40+ point loss to a 5 win FBS opponent is a good loss. Going by quotes from the committee, 4 losses wasn't too many. We just didn't have as many quality losses as other teams.
 -
Clearly we won more games than WIU so technically we won enough games. What are the criteria used by the committee?
 -
Sure they could have but they still put themselves in position at the end of the year to be in.
 -
He couldn't say that because its higher than New Hampshires. He specifically say SOS because ours is likely tougher than EIU. He can't specifically say anything about quality wins because we have more than EIU. He can't specifically say anything about D1 wins because we have more than WIU. But, we did not apparently have the quality losses other teams had. That has been specifically mentioned since Sunday.
 -
Committee chairman couldn't even answer what is a quality win and what is a quality loss so they should start by clearly defining those for the committee.
 -
^^^^^^^ This. They should have let Pinto do the interview. He wasn't scared to ask any question. Or keep it open to the phone lines like you said you were going to do. I had called in to ask the same question Westside had e-mailed and oddly enough they only took two phone calls from Bison fans.
 -
He didn't back down from his decision but didn't give any answers to justify his decisions.
 -
Hopefully Jack is ready to ask some tough questions about UND also and not just focus on the Missouri Valley schools being on the same side of the bracket.
 -
We also won 7 games playing a more difficult schedule than other teams that made the tournament. In my opinion the coaches get a pat on the back for that.
 -
Link to the interview with Patty V.. Besides sounding uninformed using a lot of "I thinks" she definitely makes an effort to walk the line. Towards the end is when she answers the question about WIU getting in without hesitation. Also says WIU was the 3rd to last team in. She also mentions strength of schedule as a reason WIU got in but that can't be the case for EIU. As the days go on I just get more angry about the shaft the NCAA gave us and wish someone in Grand Forks media would get the Tennessee Tech AD (head of the committee) and the Idaho St. AD (Big Sky representative) on the radio and ask the question. http://www.wday.com/radio/3889088-970-wday-demand-mvfc-commissioner-patty-viverito-wday-6-sports-director-dom-izzo-mike

UND vs Youngstown State (Day #3 of FGCU Tourney)

McD can shoot it. He needs to be on the court if this is our zone offense. Also needs to shoot it more. -

I'm also not sure we have any inbounds plays other than throw it to the guy who is backing up to halfcourt. -

I was thinking the same thing. Generate nothing when teams go zone. -
What seed is SDSU? I think I need a reminder.
 -
Not sure when it will be podcast but Patty V was on McFeely this morning (970 am) and she mentioned as soon as Western Illinois beat SDSU she knew they were in.
 -
I must have missed the poll that has 8 MVFC teams ranked in the top 25.
 -
having the two best teams from last year in the same conference does not automatically make it the best conference and every team in it too 25 quality. I don't buy the strength of schedule arguement.
 -
I think the NCAA tries to avoid first round match ups of teams that played in the regular season. I predict we play one of the MVFC teams first round but would love to see a matchup with an east coast team we have not played before.
 -
	Great start
 -
that's great but I comparing us and Portland st.
 -
Corrector me if I'm wrong but if EWU beats Portland St we will be ahead of them in the conference standings as we have the head to head. Likely doesn't mean anything to the committee but just makes more of a mess of the big sky
