    So either I am oblivious or they do a terrible job advertising outside of Grand Forks but I wasn't even aware the team played last week. I wanted to try and listen to some games this year because I hope to attend two and now I am already behind.

    Because it is blander than bland and boring as hell. Being white on a white jersey it simply looks like blank space... Maybe we can play only Taylor Swift songs too so that it is all related.

    I still think a white logo will look stupid on white ice. It is just going to blend in and look like nothing. Maybe someone with Photoshop skills could create a mock-up and I could be persuaded otherwise? Until then I am content with the interlocking ND, how dare they use an official athletic logo.

    I am not a fan of the green on green, even with the white boarder. Blends in too much. Either way, I will still attempt to come up to GFK for a weekend to see football and hockey.

    Not sure where to put this but I am curious.... does anyone know if the bushes in front of the Ralph still spell out Fighting Sioux ? They do in Google maps but who knows how current that is.

    Do you people also not step on cracks in the sidewalk because you don't want to fall and break your back??? I don't buy the curse... I also believe it will be the ND at center ice and not he new logo but I have been surprised before. Too much white ice with the new logo (and I realize that sounds odd as I type it). I just think we need some sort of color in the middle. Besides, who wants a red line right through the bird?

    The jerseys for next year have long ago been ordered. They will be the exact same as this past season. I suppose in theory they could add a shoulder patch, but I doubt they will. Will be interesting to see what happens in two seasons time.

    Apparently I am in the minority, but I think that the second one is significantly better than the first one. I am not sure what it is, but I just don't like the first one very much. The second one, if you are the state out and give it less curve on the beak would be my vote.

    Why is everyone so obsessed with the outline of the state? The state is basically a rectangle and not an overly interesting or identifiable shape like Texas, Florida, Michigan, or Hawaii would be. I don't get it.

    But the five options we were given on to vote from were terrible. This process was doomed to failure before it even started. I will wait for the next logo to come out before I buy anything with a logo on it. Suddenly the "North Dakota" merch isn't looking so bad. In my opinion, when the initial assessment is "it could be worse", you have failed at creating a new logo. And expectations were low to begin with. I will continue to donate my money to the aerospace dept but I think this while process has been a joke.
