Barry Alvarez, UW Athletic Director, was a driving force behind the creation of the Little 6 (Big 10) hockey conference because he didn’t want the Badgers to have to be in the same conference as the Bemidji, Alaska, and MANKATO’s of the college hockey world! (Probably was embarrassed when they would lose to them) Fast forward a few years and UW is buying the coaches, players, and administrators from Mankato. Screw you Barry! Jim Delaney can go suck an egg as well!
