  1. Jackson was smart to bring Kernan off the ice at the end...he was looking for a little revenge after taking that cross check. I'm guessing we'll see some retaliation tomorrow if the game is in hand.
  2. That’s all part of Western’s hospitality.
  3. I didn't have this on my Bingo card.
  4. The Axis of Evil...minus Denver.
  5. Guerin going all in? Or just a few pieces with the playoffs in mind? Thought they were all hot for Trocheck...
  6. Found this on the Sioux Falls Stampede website...looks like the end with section 110 is where the HOME team attacks twice.
  7. Let's hope the Sioux are Latkoczy intolerant this weekend.
  8. How about one sponsored by Big Tobacco? Or Onlyfans, for the kids.
  9. Yes, act like you've been there before. Amen.
  10. I’ll look…for some reason I don’t think I have that one.
  11. I'm thinking this...
  12. Saw this article mentioned Dean Blais but behind Star Tribs paywall...anyone have access that can give us the 411? https://www.startribune.com/minnesota-hockey-coach-sean-goldsworthy-dean-blais-state-tournament-class-2a/601591911
  13. Probably because there isn't much good music made after 1989.
  14. Sounds a little harsh...that happen a lot with recruits? Looked like he was averaging nearly a point per game; UND was looking for more or something different out of him?
  15. That guy is the definition of a wide receiver diva.
  16. Adding St Thomas next year makes me think that the NCHC will be even more of a meat grinder going forward. Mankato was just wishful thinking as it's a favorite road trip with our group.
  17. Available through ROKU and other devices. https://kstp.com/45tv/prep45/
  18. If Miami ever decides to leave the NCHC, I would hope Mankato or Augustana get consideration to replace them.
  19. The Captain Obvious point here is that the quarterfinal home teams earned their spot through winning more games and finishing in the upper half of the conference. The higher you finish, the "worse" team you get to play in that first round matchup. If you are constantly finishing 1 or 2 in the conference you typically get easier teams to play as opposed to a 4v5 matchup. I'm surprised in the large margin of victory on Friday's as opposed to the other days. Seems like their opponents give it all they have on Saturday to avoid elimination and the ones that manage to win don't have a lot left in the tank for a Sunday game.
  20. Interesting stuff Dave... I took your numbers and compared them to longtime league favorite DU over the same time period. Average goals scored/goals allowed in first-round home playoff games (2003-2025): North Dakota Home quarterfinal games (42 games) Friday: 4.78 goals scored/1.50 goals allowed (sixteen wins, two losses) Saturday: 3.56 goals scored/2.22 goals allowed (fourteen wins, four losses) Sunday: 3.67 goals scored/1.67 goals allowed (six wins, zero losses) DU Home quarterfinal games (46 games) Friday: 3.45 goals scored/1.95 goals allowed (fourteen wins, six losses) Saturday: 3.3 goals scored/1.9 goals allowed (sixteen wins, four losses) Sunday: 4.16 goals scored/2.83 goals allowed (three wins, three losses) UND seriously outplays the Pios in overall Friday games, Saturday's are pretty much a push, and DU opens up the offense on Sundays but gives up more defensively. Impressive that UND is 18-0 in the home series (36-6 overall game record) vs DU's 15-5 in home series.(33-13 overall game record)
  21. Found this gem in a box in my basement. Hard to believe this was from 2001.
  22. Probably should have won in 2023 against Quinnipiac but they got Motzko'd in the OT. Their 2014 failed appearance against Union was a bit of a blowout, 7-4? Their lack of presence in the portal and Canada is also just fine with me. No assistant coaches with NHL experience since Stauber? Great! Whatever keeps them out of the big dance. Another season like this for Motzko and he's most likely gone.
