  1. They should just post the brackets on the interwebs once the final game is played on Saturday.
  2. Ach du lieber!
  3. That's because they spend about 15 minutes prepping for the show. Bucci: "Ok, we've got BC and BU live via satellite to talk about their upcoming matchups...then we interview Gavin McKenna for 15 minutes to talk about his adjustment to the college game." Colby Cohen: "For the remaining 30 seconds we'll throw the brackets of the four regions up on the screen. The #1 seed in Sioux Falls is ND...that's Notre Dame for you college hockey junkies. Wait, I'm sorry..ND is the North Dakota State Bison."
  4. Duluth is just a dirty team; with the cup check on Verhoeff and the kneeing on Josephson getting only a two minute minor? Would love to see the Sioux end these asshole's season come the NCAA's.
  5. This is the Vikings we're taking about, right? 😉
  6. Seemed more to do with his overall production for the season and the fact that he's a healthy scratch for their conference tourney. Or maybe he's a healthy scratch partly due to the fact that the entire world knows he's leaving for the pro's.
  7. There's a lot more at stake for the regionals but who knows?
  8. I'm guessing Chicago is wondering what the hell is going on with him.
  9. I believe the NCHC was promoting some $25 tickets to the conference tourney last year; anything to get butts in seats.
  10. That's a great combo right there.
  11. Yeah, it just catches me off guard when they're not playing on Saturdays.
  12. No small task after looking at the Ticketmaster prices.
  13. Yeah, there's a lot of buzz on the Twitterverse about Boisvert this morning...and it's not all sunshine and rainbows.
  14. That being said, if UND ended up the overall #1 I'd rather go out east and play Holy Cross than end up playing Augie in a home game at Sioux Falls. I agree with you though; neutral sites don't work well for hockey no matter what the Adam Wodon's of the world say. Your most important games of the year are consistently played in venues that are half full at best. I'm all for campus sites earned by the highest ranked teams where you would have a crowd and some atmosphere.
  15. While the Gofs had a tough year on the ice, it was even tougher for the casual fan to find their games on the dial. Local Twin Cities market had them on Fox 9 or Fox 9+ for home games, I believe. They played Thursday-Friday series the last two weeks of the season so heads up if you were looking for them on Saturday. They had games on B1G but also one on FS1. Their final game against Penn St in the B1G tourny was on B1G+, which is streaming only. So unless you are one of the 36 people that pay for that service, the season ended in kind of a blackout. Maybe for the best given their play this year. Back in the good old days, all you had to do was turn on MSC/Fox Sports North on Friday and Saturday at 7pm and there they were...rain or shine and without fail. Would watch the Sioux game and during commercials and intermission you'd flip over to see how Minny was doing. All that faded once they left the WCHA but every once in a while I'd find myself looking for them and they just weren't there.
  16. I received an email from the Ralph today telling me about all the available seats; $52 for upper bowl and $62 for lower bowl. (plus the standard Ticketbastard fees which will probably add another $12-$15 to the total price. Little bit pricey...
  17. I'll chip in a few bucks if that keeps Raboin at Auggie. Don't need any kind of revival in Minny.😉
  18. Never saw Gordie Howe flop.
  19. Found this game in my stash; not sure why I hadn't put it on YouTube.
  20. Gofs not likely to do much more; wouldn't mind seeing Penn St getting knocked down another sport or two.
  21. They ended up outscoring the Drury line in the final I believe...Matt Henderson was MOP of the Frozen Four.
  22. Classic!
  23. That's a spot-on take. Sounds a bit like the two college kids doing the call during the Holy Cross-Minnesota upset.
