Totally agree. UND leadership needs to make every effort to make this work. Alumni are not just going to sit back and say, 'that's ok, they did their best; here's my check...' Kelley has made no effort to hide his support for the Summit and excitement for the new marketing opportunity.
He has no previous tie to UND; he's just a gun for hire to facilitate the change to D1.
Just think what might have happened had ANYONE in the UND leadership taken this stance. I applaud Hakstol and Roebuck for having the cajones to say what they felt.
Yes sir...understand the history, just hate the name as a nickname...and yes, some comments are hotheaded and made off the cuff...really disappointed in the way this whole thing was handled/not handled...ok, now breathe deeply and count to 1,000...
Exactly. Plus all the d-bag "experts" who come out here and try to tell us what needs to be done. It's laughable...kinda like trying to reason with a two year old...
Yes, as long as the process is allowed to play out, people will be much more accepting if a change is a required.
The PC idiots would rather just sweep the whole thing under the rug and not deal with it.
I actually sat in that level during the Frozen Four at the X when the Gofers cheated to beat UMaine. You are pretty far away but you can see everything developing...former Badger Coach Jeff Sauer sat two chairs down from me...I wanted to ask him about his goon teams but thought better of it.
