Yeah, I actually started laughing when he told me we couldn’t box out. Our whole team was short; it was our only hope to get a rebound.

Coaching my 7th grader last year and he had some guy basically run him over to get the rebound...I yelled for over the back and the 20-something ref just looked at me and said "there's no such thing"..I told ref that we will just have to box out better and he told me that was not allowed. Felt like I was in an episode of the Twilight Zone.

So what’s the equivalent call now? Or can you just blow people up from behind to get a rebound? Asking for a friend.

So how was the crowd at Lawson tonight? I didn't see much of the first two periods but when I tuned in during the 3rd there looked to be plenty of open seats. UND pretty much had control of the game by then so it seemed like a pretty tame atmosphere. According to the Heraldo, they filled approximately 3200 of the 3700 seats.

This team is a disaster...they do nothing all year but barely hang around the wild card in the standings and eventually they make the playoffs only to get blown up in the first round. Yeah, that sounds like a real formula for success; don't change a thing!!
