Hope you are right...but I'm totally expecting them to win two games on the road against Clarkson. (no small feat) Expectations couldn't be higher for Sioux fans; we are spoiled and expect to win but I totally get that it takes time to build team chemistry.

Not really, but I don’t make it to many home games. Minnesota vs Holy Cross in the NCAA regional at REA would probably be the top…this would be right up there.

Just back to the No-tell Motel here in GF. What a fun atmosphere for tonight’s game! Gophers looked like they were ready to play from the start and they jumped on the Sioux right away. UND never quit moving their feet though and were even after one. Second period had chances but nobody could cash it in. Third period, Sioux imposed their will on the Rodents and really limited their offensive chances. Even up 2 goals in the third, guys were laying on the ice trying to block shots. Gofers ended up with 2? SOG in the period. Love the aggressive style UND plays, could be a fun year.

Only holds 4,000 for hockey...where are the St Thomas fans gonna sit when the Sioux fans take over the arena? Seriously though, it may be a tough ticket for traveling Sioux fans.

The key to sweeping the Gofers is winning on Friday. No Sioux team has lost the Friday game and ended up sweeping.

I hate that ESPN has to be the avenue to promote college hockey. They don't give a rats ass about it and really only spend any time on it during the F*cking Beanpot and the Frozen Four. Loved it when the regional Fox stations carried all the NCAA regionals and you actually got people that covered the sport during the season announcing the damn games.
