  1. New offer: Ath Mike Coble, 6'2", 175, Byron (Byron), MN
  2. Another: SF Ed Chang, 6'7", 180, Papillion (LaVista), NE Has offers from NE, Creighton, St. Johns & IA (the IA offer may no longer be out there). He has grown a lot lately so started with guard-type skills. Apparently has lots of potential as noted by his other offers.
  3. Another PG offer: Jovan Blacksher, Jr., 6'1", 155, Phoenix (Shadow Mountain), CO Has offers from UNC, Fresno St, UC-Davis & CS-Northridge As a sophomore, Blacksher averaged about 16 pts, 6 assists and 5 steals per game at the 4A level in AZ.
  4. Lots of offers ('18 & '19 for both M & W). I think Wiki is up-to-date. If not, let me know!
  5. After a few days of traveling, I think Wiki is updated with the new prospects & offers, offers from other schools, etc. If I have missed anything, let me know!
  6. Another: PG Tyreke Locure, 5'10", Des Moines (North), IA First offer - scored 26/game as a sophomore!! First team 4A all-state!
  7. It sure wouldn't hurt sending one or more of the UND assistants an e-mail providing them with his name, address, etc. I am sure they would be interested in following the young man's progress. Sometimes a young guy can mature into a good prospect in a relatively short period of time. Being 6'6" at 15, he might have a few inches yet to grow. Is he playing AAU BB this summer? The coaches' e-mail addresses can be found at UNDsports.com.
  8. Another offer: SF Gaven Pinkley, 6'8“, 200, Hillsboro (Hillsboro), MO Has offers from Vermont, Air Force, Loyola (IL), Mo. St, Drake, NIU, Oral Roberts, UIC & CMO St.
  9. Blair has offers from Cleveland St, NIU, SIU, American & EMU
  10. Nice size for a PG - 5'10". Didn't average a bunch of points (9/game) but sounds like a really good player. Coached at Centennial by former Sioux BB player, Travis Bledsoe.
  11. No specifics except I think an early season tourney at a very desirable location will soon be finalized
  12. BB coaches are busy - another offer: PG Desi Carton, 6'2", 180, Davenport (Bettendorf), IA
  13. I talked to Jones last night at the Champion's Ball. There is no question that his full focus is on next year and recruiting. I would guess his extension will be announced soon. Faison has had a couple of deaths in his family lately and has not been in town much - that is probably slowing the process.
  14. I assume you are referring to Hedstrom - I know we are interested in him but I don't think we have made an offer.
  15. New offer: SF Quinn Blair, 6'6", 205, Dearborn (Divine Child), MI
  16. New offer, his first: Josh Aune, 6'1", 195, 4.5, Virginia (Secondary), MN (3 Star - 247)
  17. New '19 offer: PF James Betz, 6'7", 210, Garner (Garner-Hayfield), IA This appears to be his first offer. He was 3rd team 2A All-State as a sophomore.
  18. I agree with you but understand that Walters specifically asked that he not be redshirted. When a player is a long ways from home, it is often better to grant his request rather than take the chance that the player leaves the program because he wasn't fully engaged. I do not know if the same situation may have applied to Brown. From a pure player development perspective, they both certainly should have redshirted to gain weight/strength, learn the system, etc.
  19. Tons of positive posts from a bunch of prospects who attended today's Jr. Day. Three known offers: LB Seth Benson, 6'1", 190, Sioux Falls (Washington), SD TE Cormack Sampson, 6'5", 225, Eau Claire (Memorial), WI WR Blake Veargis, 5'9", 145, Miami (Norland), FL. Has 15+ offers There will be a bunch of new prospects added to Wiki tomorrow.
  20. I agree - I am sure everything is under control to the degree that recruiting is not being negatively impacted.
  21. Has anyone heard any rumors about a signing tomorrow?
  22. Yep - that is your assignment! Get'er done!!
  23. It is great to see that Faith Dooley will join the women's BB team after the VB season. She will have two seasons of eligibility. I would think that she will be able to contribute! http://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/4246657-unds-dooley-plans-play-basketball-after-volleyball-career
  24. I agree - Memorial is a disaster. Our No.1 priority needs to be completing Phase II of the HPC. We have to get the locker room and coaches offices out of that dump. The players and coaches deserve better and it would certainly help with recruiting. The quickest way to address this is if Memorial would be condemned (a possibility in the next year or so)! That would force the issue.....
