The original “plan” was for Geno to graduate last summer (he told Gonzaga that he would do so) so he would enroll in the fall and be eligible all year! What you mentioned was the first fallback plan after Geno failed to graduate in the summer!!

Gonzaga won 102-60. SU had only 2 assists for the game. That must be some sort of record!

It was not academic-related!

Geno fractured his right hand in practice yesterday and will be out 4-6 weeks. After leading Gonzaga 19-18, NDSU was outscored 35-6 and is behind 53-25 at halftime.

I talked to Pryor about Gayle a couple of months ago - he is very high on her! If I remember right, she visited GF last winter during a blizzard and loved it! We also offered another Vegas VB player, Trinity Sheridan. She signed with UNLV.

That was a huge non-call!

We certainly could have won but we played pretty well against a bunch of upperclassmen on the road. That might be the type of game that we would win a month or two from now. Moody had a couple of "in & outs" that may have made a difference. It was interesting to see who got the minutes in a competitive game.

We have one scholarship available. I know we were hoping to hear positive news from another big that we were very high on (not sure who). I got the impression he was another international player but I am not sure.

Agree - I was listening to the game. Even though we were playing well and had a nice lead midway through the 4th quarter, I wasn't at all surprised that we blew the lead. Since Madi Buck, we have not had a player who was clutch and took things under control at the end of games when we really needed it. We just continue to panic and turn the ball over.

Fully agree - I was excited when we landed her but she just hasn't produced throughout her career. I am surprised that she has continued to see so many minutes last season and so far this year.

Bible will play at Wyoming.

Harris will play for Bohl at WY.

Dejong will play at Iowa.

Not surprisingly, Skunberg will play for the Bison.

I am also surprised that UND has not announced anything about Stewart. We will see him in uniform again after the first semester.

Meyers will be a Badger.

I agree - let's hear from you more, Ira! How good is Isaiah Thompson? What level will he play in college?

Wilson will play at Louisiana.

There will be a surprise or two among the starters come next week.

Tony Stein from Cogswell, ND was/is the Cogswell Cannon. He played at UND 1997-99. Great kid, great arm!

Reames will play at Iowa.

They think Hunt will be a very productive player but felt she needed a redshirt year to adjust to the college game and, more importantly, add strength.

Lippe will play at IL St

After talking to a couple of sets of parents a month or so ago, I am not surprised that Williams is no longer on the team. I will leave it at that! Although it has been a lousy season, there is a lot of pretty talented youth on the team. With some experience, better health and a couple more strong recruits, we should be quite competitive again soon!
