Schedules are set years in advance so unless you are replacing another school in a conference, it will take at least a couple of years to work a new team into the schedule. While it was “nice” of the Big Sky to allow us to remain on their schedule, it would have been difficult for the eight BS teams to find a team to replace us each of the next two years.

Trieber will play at Iowa State.

Blacksher has narrowed his options down to six schools - UND is not one of them.

Normally, the weights listed are from last spring for players who were on campus and "recruited" weights for all newcomers. With players just arriving on campus this week, they will be weighed in the next couple of days and the roster page should be updated soon. Hopefully, we will see some significant weight gains!

New offer today: C/PF Jermaine Hamlin, 6'10", 225, Lincoln (Community), IL Has offer from EIU. A project as he has only been playing ball for 2-3 years. Probably very good upside potential!

Nowling will play at EMU.

Koshiol was recruited as a safety.

I am probably one of those "elders" and I am not rebelling. However, I hope we don't go overboard with too many. We don't want the reputation of being an "international BB school". Others have gotten that reputation and it has made it harder to recruit HS kids. As others have pointed out, we need to figure how to recruit MN kids. Having no MN players on scholarship is unbelievable! I am not going to do the research but I bet that has never happened before.

pA busy day - along with Wilson and Barisic, there were two other offers: PF Wilson - 6'7", 210, a graduate of Hoover HS in IA, he started all 30 games and averaged 14 & 6 as a freshman at Kirkwood CC. Shot 69% from the field (outstanding) and 46% from the line (not outstanding!). Has offer from SDSU. PF Barisic - 6'9", from Croatia. Played his freshman year at Highland CC in IL. Unable to find any stats. Has offers from NIU, WIU, Jacksonville St, UTSA, SF Austin & UNC-Ashville. SG Nicolas Elame - 6'3", 185 from France. Playing at Villa Vista Prep in AZ. It appears he averaged about 15 points last year. Has offers from SUU, UTEP, Fresno St & UCSB. PF Tim Adetukasi, 6'6", 220, from the UK. Played for a HS in CA last year. It appears he will play at Greenwood Christian Academy in IN this year. No known offers.

Roberts has chosen the Air Force.

It's not very often that I will publicly agree with a Bison fan but he is "right on" - we shouldn't be second-guessing anything that happens in the football program 70 miles south. They recruit very well, turn walk-ons into studs and seldom lose a game. Hopefully, that will be the case soon in GF but it certainly has not been happening the last few years!!
