  1. Thanks, "westsidebison"! It is refreshing to read something positive from the Bison-poster on this board. That being said, I don't go to the NDSU website - I suppose there may be UND fans who go there to add nothing but crap to that site just like most NDSU fans do here! What a waste!! Thanks again!
  2. My prediction: UND 27, TAMKU 20 I certainly hope that it isn't that close!
  3. MD/Jim - you don't see many responses on this page but I think it is pretty cool what you guys are doing. It must take a quite little work each day finding a pertinent source. Thanks!
  4. I agree! Regarding the depth, I am sure the coaching staff is very disappointed that Matt Simmons, the highly regarded, big kid out of WS, didn't return to camp this fall as well as Ian Rosario from Alaska not showing up!
  5. Being nearly 2,000 miles away from GF, I will obviously not be at the game but I don't plan to miss a play watching on the internet. I am very excited the season is about to start! Has anyone heard how ticket sales are going? Expected attendance at the game?
  6. It is interesting (I hope not overly concerning) that this year's offensive line is by far the smallest in recent history. There is only one starter (Bondy) and only one backup (Quesenberry) that are over 280. We know that Troen and Braegelmann are very talented and very effective at their weight - I hope that will be true of other OLs!
  7. I agree, with Buffalo near such a large Canadian population base, they may be very attractive to the committee.
  8. It could be that he has not met the DI entrance eligibility requirements. I had not heard this - I obviously hope it isn't true!

    Open Dates?

    They will remain open!
  10. I agree with you - especially against a smaller or quicker opponent. Also, Mathison supposedly made good progress last year. It will be interesting whether he will contribute.
  11. C Lehnertz F Benter F Mertens G Bledsoe G Porter/Joseph I understand that Mitchell is talented so I would think he will get a lot of minutes. It would be great to see Harkins healthy and back to his old self. Had it not been for his shin problems, I think he would have had an outstanding career! Harrison will likely get plenty of minutes as well. Anyone know if Lehnertz is healthy?
  12. A new name on the roster (to me, at least)! Dan Stockdale from Sheboygen North. He must have been hurt last year as he only played in three games and scored 9 points.
  13. This is in response to my question about Belotti on the WS Sports Network website. A glowing endorsement! I certainly hope he is as good as advertised! ************************************************* his talent level is OUTSTANDING and he is a GREAT kid. he started as a true freshman for Minnesota-Mankato (NCAA D2). In high school he was named all-conference, all-area, all-county and all-state. he also won the Alan Ameche Award for being the best player in Kenosha County. He won the wisconsinpreps.com Mr. Football award for being not only a top football player but also for his work in the community and with charities. Solid, solid kid.
  14. Any idea if they going to be resolved?
  15. USD's first game isn't until August 30th (UND and SU play their first game on the 28th) . I think there is some sort of limitation as to how many days before the first game you can bring your players in.

You are correct that it renews automatically. I should have stated that above. I went into the site to renew it and then learned it was automatic.

I just renewed my subscription as well. I agree - it appears the available programming will be much improved this upcoming year. I would guess that the quality issues will also be addressed. I have a feeling that Faison will get "actively involved" if there are complaints!
  18. Wow - that will certainly get our "feet wet" in DI football!
  19. It is disappointing to learn about Rosario. He apparently had a lot of talent plus it would be good to have a tie to Alaskan HS football but as you mention, if his head isn't in it, he wouldn't have been effective. I also see that two kids who were redshirted last year aren't back: Van Zee, the WR from Montana, and Nguyen, LB from Burnsville. More scholarship $ for others next year!
  20. Does anyone have any insight as to who UND has invited to walk-on this fall? When does camp open?
  21. Thanks for the info. Any other insight you might have (now or any other time) would be greatly appreciated.
  22. In looking at the 2008 roster, I see that 2-3 highly recruited red-shirt freshmen are not expected to return: OL Matt Simmons (big all-state kid from WS), Mark Kubacki (LB from Stillwater) and Troy Bryant (DB - WS). I know Simmons was expected to be very good when we landed him and I think the other two were highly thought-of as well. This happens every year to all teams but it is disappointing. I am not sure if this means anything right now, but it is interesting to note that Watkins and Sutton were assigned the same jersey numbers as upper classmen. That may or may not be a hint as to whether the coaching staff thinks they will play as true freshmen. It will be interesting if we have any chance in landing Delano Saporu's younger brother, Tobi. He is a very talented 6'2", 230 FB at Blaine. I think he may have some big time offers so we may not have a shot at him.
