I have tried to get it on on the NSU website as well - they are having the same problem. Bottom line - this one isn't our fault!

SU has just scored twice in a short period of time, lead Wagner 28-14 with a couple of minutes left in the 1st half.

I certainly wish this was on the net - I would love to see these offense formations!

Wagner and SU are tied at 7 early in the 2nd quarter.

It wouldn't have been a first down so we would have either had to go for it on 4th down or kick it again (which of course makes no sense) so it was a no-brainer decision. Am I missing something?

That is too bad - Peterson certainly had good statistics in one of the larger divisions in Iowa. I had hoped she would be a major contributor. Maybe there was a reason that she didn't get any offers!

This is a pretty darn good schedule at this point with three quality opponents at home. Lamar is just resurrecting their FB program but they may be respectable. I also hope that we are able to find another couple of good teams agreeable to coming to the Alerus. Have we heard what the pay days are for the Idaho and N. Illinois games? This is likely the proverbial "kiss of death" for our retaining the nickname!

I think it is a very good thing that we have this week off. Having played so well in Lubbock, a let down wouldn't be too surprising if we played again right away. Northwestern State got thumped but they are an established FCS team who had a winning record last year. This will be a difficult game for us to win!

The fact that their coach does not believe in slowing things down at all even with a healthy lead is the main reason for the spread. I wouldn't think it would be that bad against a team with a different philosophy.
